Nov 29th 2011 7:33AM I did, but Blizzard themselves said that there was a small patch to download before the servers came back up. Or maybe I was just misled...
Nov 29th 2011 6:52AM Not at all. Been playing for almost six years. Just usually when you can't log into the servers, or the forums and they say 3am PST...it usually is. It's almost 4am PST now, and I gotta go to work soon. I don't really want to come home to a massive download, I'd prefer to do it while I was at work :/
Nov 29th 2011 6:30AM Has anyone else got the patch to start downloading yet? The forums are offline, and so are the login servers. So, why no patch yet Blizzard? :(
Nov 23rd 2010 3:28PM So 1am for me now. Great. Guess I'm playing tomorrow.
Nov 23rd 2010 2:07PM Heya Joe, fantastic writing as usual. I'm attempting to level a resto shaman at the moment so this post was very helpful...thanks! Are you gonna be switching Lodur to a Dwarf soon? :D
Aug 17th 2010 9:15AM I live in the middle of England, and it's a lot like Silverpine Forest mixed with a touch of Eversong Woods. It's awesome :)
Jul 26th 2010 8:29AM I myself met my boyfriend over WoW when I was living in WI and he in SC. We've been together a year and a half now and WoW is still our main way that we connect. I've since moved home to the UK (due to the recession, lost my house, belongings and crushingly had to leave my daughter with my ex-husband) and it's very, very hard for me to see him or any of my family members (such as my 5yr old daughter) without the great expense of a trans-atlantic plane ticket.
Even though my daughter does not play WoW due to her being too young, I keep in constant contact with my boyfriend as we find that we can hang out a little in the evening when he comes home from work. We've both been playing for several years (him since the beginning of BC, me since the beta) and we both get frustrated and bored with this game from time to time. But I will never forget that it helped me to find him in the first place and it helps to keep us in touch. Since then, we've added Facebooks and weekly phone calls into our repertoire...but it always comes back down to WoW.
Now, I'm just hoping WoW will still be around when my daughter is old enough to play...haha.
Jun 29th 2010 11:14AM I'm not as old as the couple above (I'm 28) but I found my other half in a random dungeon one night and we're going on a year and a half of being together. He's a little older than I (He's 40) but we find that our love of WoW and about both being as mature as a couple of teenagers tends to work really good for us :) We're also a fair distance apart as he is in SC and I'm in the UK...we just tend to see each other as often as we can :(
I especially understand the couch-camping joke. I said that to my other half one night and we had a good laugh about it when we were rolling on the same trinket...lol. I wish the couple in the article nothing but luck :)
May 26th 2010 5:11AM Cairne needs some free transfers in for Horde side. We're sick of constantly getting trodden all over by the Alliance. We're outnumbered like 5 Alliance to every Horde member :/
