Breakfast Topic: How often do you switch specs? {WoW}
Jan 11th 2012 8:57AM I do change specs but here's the rub. If you've never played it before you can't expect to be stellar right off the bat. It's like playing a different character.
My recommendation if you want to be good at more than one spec is to practice the off spec as often as you can in BGs. That's where I learned to heal as a paladin *then* I jumped into gearing for heroics and PVE. Sure it takes longer but it teaches you what buttons do without making you level another toon.
I've also done that before, re-leveled the same class on a different spec just to get the idea of the mechanics.
