Jul 3rd 2011 4:51PM With the inclusion of TBC with any accounts not having it, do you think we will see the movement of the TBC areas on Azeroth moved to the Kalimdor/EK Servers to remove the load screen and allow a constant flight?

Jun 22nd 2011 1:01PM For headsets I like the Logitech Clear Chat Comfort. They're very comfortable. I got one after wearing it for 8 hours a day at work. Sound is adequate, Mic is fairly good. USB connectivity.

The Queue: A cobweb from Thaddius' room {WoW}

Jun 4th 2011 3:16PM Well of course that list isn't meant to be exhaustive.
I know not everyone is highly involved with the community but at this point the next step is to add a parenthetical reference to Blizzard publicly stating that the Next Gen MMO is not based on any current IP to every single reference to "Titan."

Maybe then we will stop seeing people ask if Titan is based on INSERT RANDOM BLIZZARD GAME/NPC/DEV/CHEWING GUM HERE.

On a related note, am I the only on that compares flash in the pan MMOs to Zebra Stripe gum?

The Queue: A cobweb from Thaddius' room {WoW}

Jun 4th 2011 12:43PM Dear Queue Readers,

Please stop asking if Titan will be based upon the following:

WoW 2.0
Warcraft's Titans
Starcraft Ghost
Rossi's Beard
Tupac and Elvis' Secret Whereabouts
Guitar Hero MMO
McCurly's Cats
2 Girls 1 Cup
WoW Insider
Sacco's Hair
The Last Episode of "Newhart"

At this point, anyone who knows hasn't said anything. We are all forced to wait until Blizzcon in hopes of hearing anything, but it wouldn't be surprising if we do not. Since there's no client out there, there's no Datamining, no leaking, no information of any kind.

The Lawbringer: China, forced labor, and why we must stop buying gold {WoW}

Jun 3rd 2011 3:31PM Even if it's a semantic difference, it's still a difference. You can't trade the Mount for a BoE Epic, so it's not the same as gold at all.

Comparing Blizzard to a gold seller is silly as well.
Blizzard doesn't use slave labor to make your mount. A Gold Seller may.
Blizzard will not steal the mount back from you and make you buy it again. A gold seller may.
Blizzard will not use the info that you provide to log in to attempt to log into your email, bank accounts, etc. A gold seller may.

The Lawbringer: China, forced labor, and why we must stop buying gold {WoW}

Jun 3rd 2011 3:22PM Right, because no one on the internet pretends to be someone else.

The Lawbringer: China, forced labor, and why we must stop buying gold {WoW}

Jun 3rd 2011 3:17PM I'm not sure you really understand how the internet works.... It's not a physical place you can pull out of.
Besides, like we all learned in health class the pull out method isn't effective.

Clearly the gold sellers are using NA/LA or EU WoW accounts, since the primary buyers are in the same regions. This means simply no longer offering a Chinese version of the game is not an option.

With tunneling services, it's quite easy to make it appear that you are connecting from anywhere in the world. I'm quite sure that anyone involved in such a grey market would think to hire someone to do simple obfuscation.
