Feb 23rd 2012 8:34PM I think you will all hate me, but i think the more frequent the expansions are launched, less excited we are about it. Mists will be "just another expansion".
It's like the Olympic Games. It happens only every four years! Imagine if every single year we had an Olympic Games edition?
Expansions should last longer. But give us more stuff to do between them.
Dec 26th 2011 9:55AM Me want disco!
Nov 23rd 2011 12:04PM December 6th is when WoW Brazil will be launched officially. I wonder if patch 4.3 will be launched on the same day.
Nov 3rd 2011 7:54PM Using anagrams of your real name is a good idea. It worked very well with some of my friends.
Sep 9th 2011 9:03AM Going through the Dark Portal and entering Outland for the first time, when Burning Crusade was the last and only expansion.
Aug 17th 2011 12:16PM The fact is, we don't experience the travel to the instance anymore. I remember the old days where we had to go all the way to Scarlet Monastery (i play as aliance) and face some horde sometimes on the way there.
All my good memories are from open world experiences. And yes, i do experience the world until now, but now it's empty!
I like traveling through the world and i know a lot of people like it too. But now i'm forced to use Dungeon Finder because of the rewards. We use it even if we like to travel and have a full group already.
Yeah, it's a lot easier to find a group with Dungeon Finder. But i want to choose to use it or not. And not at a cost of some precious Valor Points.
Aug 17th 2011 11:48AM Yet another tool for keeping us in the capitals...
Dungeon Finder killed the essence of WoW. Now this.
I really hope they don't put a reward on it, forcing us to use it like we use Dungeon Finder today.
Mar 26th 2010 2:34PM WoW gets boring after each "teleport to somewhere" tool. There's a long time we don't need to travel to battlegrounds. Then they launched the "teleport to dungeon" feature (LFD). The world is empty. No one travels anymore to go to instances (and since long time to battlegrounds too).
Blizzard saved us a lot of time with those teleports. But where all the fun from fighting the other faction at the meeting stone go? Where the "surprise effect" of random encounters while traveling go? We all roam at capital cities only. There's no purpose leaving towns.
I really miss WORLD of warcraft as it was before all these teleport stuff.
