Mar 31st 2010 5:49AM Do you have Replenishment in your raid? From my experience at current gear levels running out of Mana is extremely unlikely when you have Replenishment and an early Mana Tide.
Without replenishment it becomes much harder to keep your mana up and you will be required to gem/flask mp5 which is unfortunate as a fully hasted shaman is incredibly powerful.
If you're in a 10 man and you're running without Replenishment it's best to get someone to respec for it. Hunters or Locks are easiest for this as they won't take too big of a hit in their DPS and it will help the entire raid a lot more (though Frost mages are becoming more viable)
Feb 12th 2010 2:41PM If you run behind them before the whole 'run in, start casting, climb out of the ground' animation is complete you won't aggro them at all. They'll just stand there looking at empty space at the bottom of the stairs
Jan 8th 2010 8:27PM It's in! Just click on the questionmark in your menu bar and hit 'report lag'

That's what I was getting at. Like you said, he can just leave, because they ARE wasting his time for something he "can't" need.
Jan 8th 2010 10:05AM It's a bit more than that. The first writer's group wanted to farm the trash. The writer already has the hilt so it's a total waste of their time, so IMO it's a perfectly valid question, why help them kill a bunch of trash mobs if they can't get anything from it.
Jan 7th 2010 5:55AM D: I was joking earlier to my friend that if there was a shaman application I'd join. but that I lacked elemental experience (and that my two specs were Resto(main) enhance (off))
I suppose I should give it a shot :X
I only do 10 man raids however, but do do the latest content and stuff...
Dec 12th 2009 6:55AM This is actually, somewhat a problem with higher content (ToGC.) We had our bear main tanked mixed with some avoidance and stamina. But the problem with the raid bosses was that they do a bunch of lovely unmitigational damage. Gormok's bleed ticks ignore dodge, Anoobarak's freeze slash remove all your avoidance/mitigation, and having to stack stam became the best option. And like somebody else mentioned, you can actually get a ton of avoidance/mitigation from just gear at higher levels.
This does make lower geared tanks think 'LOTS OF STAM' even before they get enough gear.
Oct 21st 2009 6:46AM Percentages in WoW don't multiply, rather, they're additive. All your percentages will first count up before being applied to the base.
Oct 20th 2009 4:18PM I believe that Paladins can use their hearthstone on Mistress' Kiss and it'll lock that out! Don't quote me on this though. I can't remember where I picked that up :S
Oct 16th 2009 5:18PM There's a thread on tankspot that has macro's for all types of tanks.
