Sony beefing up legal team to battle pirates {Joystiq}

Feb 25th 2011 8:51AM Now just as a heads up, I am a pirate, I steal the hell out of the internet, but having said that I only do it to make sure that I enjoy a game before I buy it. I despise demos since they don't give you a real feel for the game that or it just shows off the best parts of the game leaving out things like glitches and sloppy combat things like that. If I find I don't like the game then of course it gets deleted and I never bother with it again.

But for consoles well I don't see the point of "jail breaking" it at all. If I want to try out a game I'll wait for it to be released for PC then try it out and if its terrible well then I'll be glad I didn't buy it for a console, if its awesome but I think it'd be better on a console then I go but it for the console and remove it from my computer. I don't consider it being cheap since I don't want to pay $50- $60 bucks for a piece of garbage game and be able to turn it back in for what like $5 bucks?

Breakfast Topic: Who will be the ultimate boss encounter of WoW? {WoW}

Dec 14th 2010 8:37AM Yes I'm aware that he's been around cause issues look at his children for gods sake, but that doesn't make me give a rats ass about killing him. I've killed both his kids and I had fun doing that. Deathwing himself however I don't care about killing, yeah he just ripped the world a new one and is in fact an asshole but that doesn't make me care. I find I am missing the drive I usually have which is to murder the ever loving shit outta the "end boss" for the expansion for ruining my day, but so far thats missing, we'll see if the game can make me care or if I'll just wonder through this expansion doing things not related to raiding or gear or any of the normal things I might care about.

Breakfast Topic: Who will be the ultimate boss encounter of WoW? {WoW}

Dec 14th 2010 8:13AM For me personally it was Arthas, everything that comes after him is kinda pathetic by comparison. I find myself not really giving a crap about Deathwing at all, much like I didn't really give a crap about any of the bosses in vanilla WoW. I don't really know these bosses very well considering Deathwing gets an ass beating the first time we met him, and then it was only really 1 map and then he was gone. The issue with using Illidan and Arthas so early on is that now who are we gonna fight that has such a rich back history ? I mean Queen Azshara is on my list, and The Nightmare, but most of the main characters that I know so well have played there part and now its time to move onto the unknown and me personally I just find myself drifting and not really caring about what goes on in the world because I've killed the enemy I've been waiting for for almost a decade, I don't see how Blizzard can top that for me. So I've just been kinda drifting, waiting to care and if that doesn't happen then I may just not come back until they do give me a boss to fight that I do care about killing.

The Queue: Min-maxing archaeology {WoW}

Dec 13th 2010 11:37AM So far that's all I've done cause I come home and I don't feel like getting gear to do jack so I've been using Archeology to level up, seriously I'm 82 and I've killed maybe 10 mobs my level... Plus I got the raptor pet already which is nice.

Breakfast Topic: Who is your favorite Warcraft character? {WoW}

Dec 10th 2010 9:19AM That is one hell of a tough decision cause like the article says there are so many amazing major NPC's. If I had to pick one who stands above all the rest I don't think I could. My favorites however are Arthas, Illidan, Gul'dan, The Dark Lady, and Anub'arak in no particular order. I truly enjoy the crap out of the Nerubian underground empire, I wish that was a zone all on its own, or hell even an expansion, but sadly its just two instances that show you how massive the place is, it was like a terrible teaser. Moving on, I think the WoW lore writers have done an amazing job at working people into and out of the story and making the characters people you can relate to.
