Dec 5th 2011 2:08PM "TERA producer confident that game offers something new"
Mindbogglingly huge T&A? Women that look like porn stars and men that look like women? Wait, is this a 4chan mmo?
Oct 13th 2011 12:48PM @Mtor
I'm curious how you came to that conclusion from the article. I understand the polished and smooth parts, but how does that indicate future level of interest? Also, could you define McMMO in specific terms?

It's cute that you have to resolve to name-calling but end up using the wrong words. It's also nice that out of the 3 examples of "nearing completion" terms you used, only 1 actually appears in the article: "polishing". The term "home stretch" is used by the writer, not Ohlen.
Considering you feel the game is release ready, you must be in beta. Oh, you're not? How surprising. [/endsarcasm]
There's plenty of live beta footage that has been posted both officially by Bioware and by other source. Why don't you go youtube "swtor beta" and see how many results come back?
People like you need to get a grip. There's TONS AND TONS of information, videos, pictures, trailers, and news about this game and yet somehow you come back and say, "Then drop the NDA. YOU MUST BE AFRAID BECAUSE YOU WON'T DO IT." I mean, really? How is anyone supposed to take you seriously?
Yours, Ren54's, and Mtor's fearmongering in this thread is just silly, and I'm glad most of the people posting here have enough sense to realize that you're just a bunch of trolls looking for attention. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Well, Cysis 2 is just a ripoff of Mario Party 6 from 2004 so maybe they should make their ground combat like NBA Jam.
^also an equally nonsensical statement full of bad logic and false information. Why are we doing this again?
Sep 23rd 2011 1:21PM @Ren54
Wow, more false information AND insults to the graphics in one paragraph? You truly are a pro troll.
He never said they were saving changes for post-realse. In fact, he said they were saving major systems changes for later but were working on polishing the game now (which, oddly in fact, does include changes):
"You have to do a targeted launch, because if you go too crazy with feedback and you change major systems, what happens is you don't have time for polishing. You have to choose where you're going to change according to feedback from players, both external and internal."
Sep 23rd 2011 1:14PM @(Unverified) "LOL Space combat on rails? Seriously?"
I know, right? God, it's not like some fox was flying around in space on rails and ended up breaking the 5-day sales records set by Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64. You're so right, space rails combat must be some sort of awful gimmick that nobody will ever like.
Sep 23rd 2011 1:08PM @(Unverified) Where did he say it was close to completion? I must have missed that part.
Sep 23rd 2011 1:06PM Glad to see both of you actually read the article instead of basing your opinions on a misguided quote from Massively. Oh wait...
Sep 23rd 2011 1:02PM @Ren54
Strange, that's not what he said at all:
"we're getting a lot of feedback on the game. And when we get that feedback, we use it to make tweaks and changes"
"If we get feedback that the current way the mission runs is not intuitive or not very fun, we can change how the mission goes"
They use it to make changes!? /GASP! So you mean that he's trying to tell me that they don't find everything themselves?
Also, he never claimed they found all the bugs themselves:
"the beta tests are more for finding out if your technology's going to stand up, and finding some small tweaks and changes"
"But all the big changes that we've been making were planned from way before, because we've been playing the game ourselves. If we didn't figure this stuff out, we'd be terrible game designers. So, internally we figured out a lot of the problems early on."
Did you see what you only wanted to see?
Sep 23rd 2011 12:54PM @Deadalon
Oh look, the "Bioware is being racist/discriminating against me because they aren't officially launching in my country first" argument wrapped neatly in a "this game is going to fail because it isn't launching in my country" argument. Really, don't you guys ever get tired of forcing yourself to believe such nonsense?
Man, NCSoft must be super-racist against Icelanders too because Blade and Soul isn't launching first in Iceland. And Square-Enix must be super-racist against you too because FFXI launched first in Japan. They're even worse because a PS2 version was never released in ALL OF EUROPE.
I think it's about time you guys took off your tinfoil hats and stopped pretending everyone is out to get you.
