Breakfast Topic: To "grats" or not to "grats" {WoW}

Feb 14th 2011 10:04AM My guild doesn't say 'grats', we use the more appropriate 'nerd'

Guildie 1 achieved [1000 Valor Points]
Guildie 2: nerd

Raid Rx: Leveling tips for Cataclysm healers from 80 to 85 {WoW}

Dec 3rd 2010 10:33AM Make sure to stock up on food and drink in real life too! I'm taking time off work and frankly I don't want to have to leave the flat until I turn 85.

Breakfast Topic: Goodbye Hallow's End, hello Day of the Dead {WoW}

Nov 1st 2010 9:44AM For horde at least there is no need for npcs to help with dousing the fires. Go to the blood elf starting area. There only two buildings set on fire, one of which is so close to the water that you barely need to move two steps. I did it solo a number of times.

Breakfast Topic: Some day my ding will come {WoW}

Aug 19th 2010 10:21AM Back in the Burning Crusade I was an altoholic nut. Instead of raiding I had my fun jumping from character to character. I had a character of each class on the same server and through aimless jumping about got 4 of them up to level 70. I sat down one day looking at my character screen with the remaining 5 classes at around levels 30-50, and knew what I must do.

I armed myself with Jame's remarkable levelling guides and set to work. I levelled the lowest level character up until he matched another, then I levelled up 2 characters at a time, then 3, 4 and eventually at level 50 I was logging off and on 5 characters keeping them all up with each other, doing the same quests from the guide.

It must have taken me about 4 or 5 months but I got there. I had levelled each up to within one quest completion of level 70, and logged them all off on the same spot in Shattrath. Then, to much pomp and ceremony I gathered my guildies and some random spectators, then one by one logged in my characters, summoned the image of Archmage Vargoth and handed in the final quest.

I dinged to the level cap 5 times in the space of 10 minutes, and I felt pretty damn satisfied.

Varimathras' replacement: "B" {WoW}

Sep 25th 2009 8:19PM I'm assuming that this new person will also be the replacement for Varimathras in questlines, when 80s come back to do all the old quests. Which would then lead me to wonder why Blightcaller will send us on a quest to go talk to Blightcaller ( )

Ah well, the replacement is long overdue anyway.

How WoW might be played on the Apple Tablet {WoW}

Aug 31st 2009 8:01PM Or you could just turn Click-to-Move on and not have to bother with that wrist breaking nonsense.

Patch 3.2 In-Game fixes for Wednesday August 5th {WoW}

Aug 6th 2009 1:03AM No fix for the Flame Leviathan tower buff bug? Get on that one, Blizzard!

World of WarCrafts: Sounds like a whole new Stratholme {WoW}

Jul 14th 2009 4:13PM If British accents shouldn't be used because of a lack of a Middle Age Europe setting, then what accent would you suggest? The American accents that the game normally uses? What makes that more appropriate for a fantasy game?

Breakfast topic: Do you wish there were worldwide realms? {WoW}

Jul 12th 2009 3:26PM It seems a lot of people are forgetting that before WoW was released in Europe, Blizzard PROMISED gamers that at some point down the line they would be able to play on the US servers with the same account, and vice versa.

I waited for this feature for a long time. Over 4 years now in fact, although I have totally given up hope. But do not pretend like Blizzard haven't considered this. Although frankly I think the reasons that they don't allow it are more because they can't be bothered than they just can't.
