Nov 14th 2011 10:30AM Personally, I wouldn't let your returning GM have any access to the guild either as a member or an officer. I would certainly not negotiate witj him. It is no longer his guild, he left any "rights" to it when he buggered off to another server! His intensions are clear and they would benefit himself and not the guild. I would suggest accepting leadership from your sister as an active guild needs an active leader. There is nothing to stop you from moving the guild forward with your sister being am active part of it.
Feb 26th 2011 11:31AM I liked the Guild Wars facility to view pvp battles between guilds. Much like what Blizzcon offers but on a daily basis. Being able to view your guild raids would we a welcome extension of that.
On a visual note, I miss not being able to dye clothes. That was something that I miss from GW.
Dec 6th 2009 10:52AM I've read this article with interest. Guild recruitment is often a headache, however the particular problem we have found, like Shadowembrace is retaining our new recruits. They don't seem to want to put the effort in. I can only assume that they expect to join a raid and steam roll through it, even when it's new content for us.
One of the things that I've found enjoyable in WoTLK is not necessarily having the "perfect" raiding set-up and still doing a bang up job. I believe my guild members enjoy the extra challenge to.
And to pimp my guild - Teknica on Thunderhorn EU, we are recruiting! :)
Dec 28th 2008 11:08AM OMG, what is it with WoW players and hatred for Gnomes? I don't think I'll ever understand it.
Nov 15th 2008 8:09PM Congratulations to them.
I don't give a monkey's rat arse how quickly they got them, as I'm enjoying Wotlk at my own pace and steadily gaining ground hour by hour.

Nov 13th 2008 1:28PM I'm installing and patching at the moment. I've been fortunate enough to have my game arrive this morning. I ordered on the 3rd November and its arrived before those who pre-orderded many months ago, which sucks. I know a few of my friends are going to local stores to buy a copy there as their hasn't arrived yet and will be sending their ordered copy back.

Nov 13th 2008 12:09PM That's one of the first things that struck me about WoW was how beautiful the sky is. In my early days I'd occasionally just sit staring up at the sky, sad I know but it sure is pretty.
Installing Wotlk as I speak. I've blagged an additional day off work and I'm raring to go.

Nov 12th 2008 7:23PM I hope this doesn't post twice.
Just a few (and now irrelevant) musings.
I have to say that out of all the builds I tried SL/SL was my favourite, it and I rocked.
I really don't know how you can be so successful in BG's with a destro build. I was quite successful with an afflic build but having re-specced to destro for TBC end raiding I got seriously bitch slapped in PVP. For those of you who are successful Destro PVP'ers, I tip my hat to you.

Nov 12th 2008 4:50PM Pre-WoW I would have thought that this list was a little sad but I'm already contemplating what I need to get for my Wrath mega weekend. I know some players who have taken a few days off work to get stuck in it and if I had enough leave left I would have too.
Do you think that taking a flask of coffee to my computer room is a little excessive??
Let me know how you all survive!
Nov 12th 2008 2:43PM Only that my order has been dispatched from amazon.co.uk or I would be one of those trying to get a copy at midnight this evening.
Good luck everyone, and happy gaming
