May 29th 2009 3:24PM My thing is armor. CLOTHIES FOR THE WIN!!!!
I have played every class to at least 30 excluding a shammy. My first 60 was a Hunter. Dull. My next was a rogue and I really liked him. Then I went mage and never came back. I have my 2 lvl 70 mages (horde and alli) my 80 horde priest and my 70 alli lock. Horde or Alli I don't care but if you need plate in a fight I will kill you. Plate wearing pansies. Try tanking in a dress then I'll be impressed. Priest tanking and all clothy groups are so much fun.
BTW: I really don't mean this as a troll. I love my guild tanks.
May 29th 2009 3:09PM I'm there with you. I played Alliance for about 2 years and now I've been playing Horde for about 2 years. I like my horde toons but I do miss my gnomes. The greatest way to tune you 1v1 pvp skill is play a gnome on a pvp server. You will try to jump you constantly.
I miss seeing my little mage riding his tiger. And I still have this mental image of my little pink haired gnome rogue climbing up a Tauren's back and sticking her dagger through his heart.
May 26th 2009 1:22PM Oh my god.... seriously??
This article actually made me a little mad.
Druids have everything going for them. All they need is lock picking and conjured strudel and it will be World of Druidcraft.
Ok druids had been the best healing class for PVE and PVP a long time. Trees are excellent healers. Sure they can't dps but, like many others have said, neither can other healing class. (NO, priests do not do any viable dps in disc or holy) You can also switch and suddenly have more armor and health or switch and stealth around.
I personally believe that druids should be nerfed all around. Most classes only get 1 maybe 2 viable rolls in a group, yet druids can tank, melee dps, range dps, and heal. Blizz should pick 2 of these to be useful and competitive with other classes (Bear and Tree IMO) and leave the others less effective (so pure dps classes can have their rightful spot).
Mar 17th 2009 1:25PM I was actually going to comment on the same thing,
I played alli for two and a half years and have now been Horde for about two years. On top of what you were saying about the zones alli also had less convenient flight paths. On of the big turning points for alli travel was finally getting the flight paths in Ratchet and STV. Horde also has a major advantage in STV which is the easiest area to lvl 28-40. The only lvling area in which alli have the advantage is about 50-53 where the best area is WP where there is no fp for Horde. BC and Wrath don't give much advantage to lvling for either side... that I've seen.
Mar 17th 2009 1:04PM A problem with Warsong Gultch:
Because of the different architecture of the sides, horde have two cheats. One that isn't so bad is the ability to run along the fence on there side and stay out of melee range. The other is the the ability to climb up and lay down above the entrance closest to the graveyard. This keeps you out of melee range and los's casters. Since they are right next to the graveyard horde can rez there very fast. In essence, if someone knows this trick they are untouchable leaving the rest of the BG to kill the alli flag carrier.
The only advantage for alli is that the huts with the buffs face towards their base instead of out like the horde's.
I am Horde BTW, although I played alli for a long time also.
Mar 4th 2009 3:12PM BTW where I'm from that's just Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza. Hawaiian has almond slivers on it.
Feb 24th 2009 12:59PM "I am the alpha and the Omega!"
In any Heroic, be #1 in both damage dealt and healing done.
Shadow priest FTW
Feb 17th 2009 12:29PM I was a holy priest for most all of BC but found that I could get a more consistent spot in 25-man raids as shadow (because Hira is one mean little girl). Anyway, with duel spec I will probably be healing in most of the 5-man runs but be back a shadow for raids. I believe the duel spec will make a massive difference in the availability of people for 5-man heroics but one spec will still be your off-spec and will have inferior gear. I will be able to heal and I know how to heal well but it is a lot more difficult when a lot of my gear is +hit instead of +mp5.
Jan 5th 2009 5:18PM I get the same "You do not meet the requirements for that quest" as a BE priest so its not horde only.
