Jan 7th 2011 3:11PM I haven't seen the question asked yet, hence the reason I asked it.
In reference to it being asked during WotLK, there was an Endless Mode designed not just for testing, but they actually created Achievements for it which to me implied long term intentions for it beyond the quest line. I haven't seen blue posts regarding the reason why it was removed or what their intentions are for it, so that's why I asked the question.
Jan 7th 2011 12:47PM Do we have any word on when (if?) they will implement a feature to allow players to replay the "Peacebloom vs. Ghouls" mini-game after they've completed the questline?
Dec 28th 2010 12:08PM I wonder if turning Tol Barad in to a resource based battle would help fix things.
Each side earns Resource Points, like in Arathi Basin for each stronghold they control. The side with the most Resource Points at the end of 30 min wins, or perhaps there could be a resource cap that needs to get hit in order to win. The Attackers with their closer Graveyards would have the slight advantage here, and turtling a single stronghold would no longer be a viable defense option as the attacking side could outpace the defenders with two strongholds to one.
Dec 23rd 2010 2:01PM Is it possible to get the Fossilized Raptor after skill level 300 in Archeology? I was under the impression from the initial blue posts that we wouldn't see repeat projects until everything was learned at least once, yet at skill level 450 I'm seeing duplicate Fossil artifacts pop up without having yet gotten the Raptor. When I check WoWWiki, it looks like the Raptor might only be available during the 225 to 300 range, but that seems somewhat silly.
Dec 16th 2010 4:38PM I highly expect as time goes by and more folks level up Archeology, that the number of Keystones available on any given realm will begin to build up, lowering AH prices on them, and making them more likely to show up for buffs in raids. After all, a dedicated Archeologist will eventually find that they don't need their keystones anymore for Projects, and at that point the keystones will only be valuable as a Group Buff or something to sell on the AH.
Dec 16th 2010 2:34PM Cataclysm 5-Man dungeons allow Archeologists to use Highborne, Dwarf, and Tolvir Keystones (depending on dungeon) to grant zone wide buffs to the group. Is there any indication that new 5-mans will be introduced that make use of the Troll, Orc, Draenai etc... versions of the keystones? As a follow up, will level 85 heroic versions of old dungeons eventually allow for the use of keystones to provide buffs?
Dec 7th 2010 3:03PM I can haz vid card pweaz?
Nov 15th 2010 10:10AM Meh, doesn't really bother me. I'm buying at a store. It'll take me three hours just to buy the game, drive home, and go through the whole installation process.
Oct 21st 2010 11:33AM Will we ever get a larger Backpack? I find it a little bizarre that we are now carrying around 22 slot bags while only having a 16 slot Backpack. It'd be nice if there was a questline or something to get it upgraded.
Oct 14th 2010 12:55PM I just saw the Tier 11 preview set today for Mages, and I'll admit that like many previous versions the Shoulders and Helm continue to look fresh, but once again we're wearing Robes. Will Blizzard ever give end-game Mages (or Cloth Wearers in general) something other than Robes for their tier Chest Piece?
The chest gear tailors craft and the greens we find while leveling have a variety of models, so why is endgame chest pieces all robes? I was really hoping that with their third expansion they'd create a new chest armor model for us styled after an open Trenchcoat, or stylish Vest, or at least anything to mix up the monotony of the chest armor models we've had for the last three EndGames. (seriously, who wants to wear a sweaty robe while in Ragnoros furnace?)
I understand that Robes go with the whole magic-user facade, but I haven't seen my Pants in Four Years!
Is there any indication Blizzard will give us something new, or is it something they just have no interest in?
