May 19th 2009 1:32PM Everyone's making a huge deal about this but the real question is, in a month is anyone still going to care?
Ensidia will most likely get 25m algalon down first and maybe all the other hard modes/gear restriction achievements before anyone else but hey that's their thing.
I'd rather spend the time from now til the next major patch slowly working on ulduar and the hard modes rather then blowing through all the content in 2 months then sitting around doing nothing for the next 4 waiting for something new to do. But that's just me.

Mar 3rd 2009 8:19AM I usually communicate with arrows.
After about 2 or 3 they usually get the hint or take a dirt nap
Feb 10th 2009 9:17AM The problem is there are tons of players who either A: have some gear but have no intelligence in playing their class or knowing what to do in encounters or B: They may know what to do but be in full greens just have hit 80 minutes or days ago.
Many fights require DPS doing a lot of damage in a short amount of time (most naxx boss have an enrage timer) so if your only putting out 1200 dps on a 25 man we don't want you, go to 10 man and get some gear but many people feel they can just waltz into a 25 man and have the other 24 people carry them into gear.
Yeah that just doesn't happen, as a MM hunter I consider myself to be somewhere in the middle of the dps class so if I can do 3800+ dps raid buffed I expect everyone else to be doing at least 3000 in a 25 man
Feb 5th 2009 4:00PM Pre Patch 3.1
Typical 25 man = 3 tanks 7 healers 15 dps
after Patch 3.1
Typical 25 man = 3 tanks 15 healers 7 dps
Nov 20th 2008 8:28AM I wouldn't say they beat the entire expansion, I haven't seen one screen shot of anyone getting the achievement for beating Sartharion with all three drakes alive. The first set of raids were meant to be entry level raids not just Naxx think kara, gruul and mag. If you could clear then before they nerf'd them, then chances are you can clear them now.
You also have to realize that a majority of players aren't level 80 yet, so just because some people felt the need to blow through the game in 2 days (chances are without doing quests or experiencing any of the other content) I don't think they should get the right to QQ about the endgame content. I guess you could call it their punishment for trying to prove something now they need to wait until the next patch comes out and by then even the causal players should be 80 and have cleared the entry level dungeons so everyone should be around the same point at that time.
Well next we will get utgarde raid which should scale to SSC difficulty then whatever the next raid after which should be similar to Hyjal then Icecrown > BT.
So if it goes in some kind of order like that I think it would make since
Nov 18th 2008 8:30AM Blizz has really messed up with many of these quests by having timed events and not having the mob lock to the people when started the event so any idiot can try to run up and ninja it including people from the opposing faction. I can't count how many times I've had to do quests over to try and actually accomplish them.
Some key ones:
Tundra - The mobs that row in on the boat
Tundra - The elite mage guy in the bubble
Fjord - The pirate guy and the big dog
and of course if you do manage to actually do any of these quests it still takes you about an hour to fight off the other faction so you can turn them in. Pretty annoying if you ask me. We paid for wrath so we can enjoy the game content but all I've gotten so far is a whole lot of frustration
Nov 14th 2008 8:44AM I agree, snake trap has become useless now in pvp because everyone has some form of aoe and traps are pretty much a hit or miss since in a typical encounter you have time for about 1 trap and if it gets resisted or they trinket out of it there goes our close range defense.
I guess at 80 you should be able to have access to scatter shot again if you spec bm or mm so you can ice trap > scatter shot > then put another ice trap down
what they should add:
- Cut the snake trap duration in half but make the snakes unkillable
-Make ice trap slow the target after it breaks or make it if it is resisted or broken before the duration ends it slows the target by like 60%
On a side note they need to fix the problems with the core hound's pathing 90% of the time it stands around or lag glides to its target
