Apr 2nd 2010 5:31PM Hey congrats on your new level 80 prot warrior! I also just dinged 80 with my prot warrior a couple days ago!
Nov 2nd 2009 1:23AM I got the meta acheivement at the end of Brewfest with my main, so I wasn't worrying too much about that. I was excited this year though, because I logged all my alts out in Brill and logged on daily to accept the stop the fires quest, which counted as complete if you logged in while the pumpkin was on the ground, even if you didn't help put out the fires. So I basically logged on for a half hour a day and got all my toons up a level, plus a ton of wands and other stuff for fun. A very productive holiday for me.
Jun 2nd 2009 2:18PM OMFG! Extended maitenance + my patch downloader not being able to get past 10% = FAIL!
May 25th 2009 6:36PM Ok, so basically if I was a disc priest it would be ok to shield the pally tanks, but as a holy it is not? That's good news, I may try a disc spec, I was afraid to spec disc since it relies on shielding for a lot of its benefits, but I didn't realize that speccing disc would make it ok to use the shield. Thanks!
May 24th 2009 10:20PM Here is where I get confused. I am a holy priest. When I run a heroic instance with a Pally tank, I often get asked not to shield the tank. Why is that? Don't their aoe spells generate their threat? Do they have to get hit to generate threat? Someone please explain.
Feb 17th 2009 1:41PM Okay, so here is my only problem with voidwalker tanks. I play a Warlock as my main. I have no desire to spec demonology, I love the big crits in destro. However, if voidwalkers were made viable tanks for five man and I get into a group where we are having trouble finding a tank, the other players will ask me if my voidwalker can tank. If I say no, they might get frustrated and leave, and if I say yes we will wipe and they will get frustrated and leave. I don't want to deal with the delicate politics voidwalker tanks bring.
Jan 23rd 2009 11:19AM Well, I am guessing those who subscribed to that service they were talking about the other day are getting a decent payout now. :)
Jan 16th 2009 12:20PM Here's the problem with comparing it to insurance. Most people don't get car or health insurance because they might get a pay out if something bad happens. They get it because without insurance a hospital will only stablize you when you're sick, they won't treat you. And without insurance you can't drive because if you get pulled over you are required to have proof of insurance. Insurance gives you benefits other than just paying when something goes wrong.
Jan 11th 2009 2:04PM When I was but a young noob warlock I didn't fully understand my gear yet. I thought that blue items were pretty much always the way to go if your class had the proficiency to wear them. So I was excited when I got a blue head item off the auction house. I was standing at the zepplin when someone asked "Why are you wearing healing gear?" I didn't know what he meant and he said "Bonuses to healing don't help you at all." I said, like an idiot, "It helps my healthstone." I felt pretty dumb afterwards and now I work really hard to make sure my gear is the right gear.
Jan 2nd 2009 2:52PM I have another couple of things that happened to me. I was in a group and we wiped. The group leader said "I gtg" and then didn't leave the group, must've just walked away from the keyboard. Because we couldn't invite anyone else and we couldn't kick the guy we either had to wait until his computer logged him or start over. It sucked.
The other instance was Heroic Halls of Stone. I got an invite to a group that had just kicked a mage for doing almost no DPS. They were at the first or second boss of the instance. We killed that boss, then the tank decided she was out and left. After that everyone else left so I basically got screwed out of my daily heroic. Sad day.
