May 17th 2011 8:46PM The more I think about this, the more I don't want to be involved in it.
Pay to play has taken a new twist. How HIGH will you go?
RIP Galarind, Galanaar, Galamane, Galacorte, Galaroc, and more, of Nazgrel.
The price will keep going up to stay on the cutting edge. That's fine for some. I, for one, came to play knowing what the rules were. They've changed. Go to hell, Warcraft.
May 17th 2011 5:04PM Good grief. This certainly DOES cross that slippery slope on things that don't matter (sparkle ponies, non-combat pets).... now I can queue faster with my cross-realm friends, for just a small amount extra per month..... since when does that not tilt the playing field? No, they might not be tanks or healers. But it certainly does tilt the odds and get many of us a faster queue.
This game is making me sick..... when Activision came in, this is EXACTLY what they predicted. Nickel and dime, nickel and dime. Next maybe I can just buy all the mats for that legendary. After all, they won't be *giving* it to me... /wink /wink
Jan 25th 2011 8:24AM If you are a night elf, it's great fun when you see this happening to shadowmeld. The mob resets, then goes after the person trying to steal your node. Then *you* can swoop in and loot it while they are stuck fighting. Hilarious.
Jan 25th 2011 8:21AM Flying mounts on top of quest givers, notably daily quest givers in SW. Also druids in flight form. You may have this quest, but the other 5 of us trying to find an angle to actually click on the quest giver, and not you, to turn our quest in are not amused.
They increased the radius around these npcs so this doesn't happen.... but it still does.
(An evil twin to this is the opposite faction currently flagging and standing on top of the vendors for the Lunar Festival in Moonglade..... get a life, people).
Dec 7th 2010 3:02PM Wow, i just built a new PC. it sure would be nice to be able to swap this in.
Dec 6th 2010 11:43AM I'd love one of those!
Oct 4th 2010 9:22AM Oh, easy. I was outside the portal to Utgarde Keep (before the dungeon finder was in effect) and four of us were waiting for the last person to be ready. I saw a flagged hordie at the portal entrance. "Hey, watch this" I crowed as I, the squisky priest, ran up and smacked the horde warrior in front of his friends. Of course, I flagged, everybody chased me, and I dashed into the instance.
Or not. "Instance server full, try again later" the message read, and I was still standing in front of the horde, locked out of the instance. ERRRT. Game over. I deserved that one, but man, was it funny.
