Oct 12th 2010 1:44PM Resto Druid's Swift Rejuvenation talent is bugged and will override haste-on-gear effects on your Rejuv's GCD.
So taking 2/2 will automatically put you at 1.00s. 1/2 will set you at a level (unadjusted by haste at all). 0/2 gives you your normal haste (in good gear, worth the saving of two points for other stuff).
Aug 18th 2010 12:50PM This just happened to us which makes me wonder if this was my guild sending this in...
Understand that overplayed content is overplayed and that by running raids week in and week out, it just burns people out. So when people like myself go on vacation, don't assume we're stepping away forever; we're coming back.
May 25th 2010 3:39PM Above AH price! Make them yourself when you find cheap herbs on the AH and make a profit off of their lack of preparation. Add to the market price for the time taken during the raid to get the flasks to the individuals.
May 24th 2010 2:19PM We use chat channels to vent frustration, instead of using guild chat. So, while it's not being said here that chat channels are outright bad, we find them as an appropriate place to vent frustration.
Who has 25 perfect raiders? We don't, and our base of selection is limited on our server. That said, sometimes people make us angry and instead of venting AT that person (which hardly ever works), we vent in a chat channel (and the RL/GM happens to be in it b/c she vents like us). It keeps us healthy and unstressed.
Are we clique-ish? No. We're all in the same guild chat and we socialize in guild chat and in raid chat during raids. We are still one team.
Balance is key; don't have topics in which everyone can contribute in the private chat channel unless it really is for a limited audience. We've struck a balance and it's different for everyone.
Apr 6th 2010 3:42PM VuhDo is also amazing because it has a buff watcher, which can track your shields, your weapon imbue, and your totems, in a small and very customizeable frame.
Apr 5th 2010 11:29AM As a healer, I am dependent on boss mods. You may not care as a DPS but I certainly care when I know Blood-Queen's fear is coming up (no cast timer or emote for that one) and there is a dps with 60% health there because he WILL die sometime during the fear. Simply put.
There are many many many examples of something like this where I need to know what is going on but the mechanics of the game force me to be watching bars.
Do I need to know via add-on when I'm standing in a void zone? No; I can tell. Do I have that enabled? No; I don't need it.
Mar 19th 2010 1:12PM It seems mean to call someone who is living in their own personal hell "selfish" when they find a way out. Not that I condone suicide but their life is their life and they can do whatever they want with it (of course there are consequences).
But you should never call someone who is in pain "selfish." It completely overlooks their circumstances.
Mar 18th 2010 7:15PM "ee" is an appropriate term for yes but it's not as "quick" sounding as "hai"; it's a little more smooth on the ears and I prefer it in general but I do know when to use which. I felt that with strangers, "ee" felt a little better". I would've suggested "un" and "uun" but many people confuse the two (if they aren't trained speakers).
Mar 18th 2010 6:47PM So excited to see my Japanese translations up there! My Japanese TA briefly looked at them just now, and she doesn't play video games much but she said that they look correct.
Now I feel like my years of studying has been justified for the moment.
Mar 2nd 2010 7:26PM Our battlegroup rolls "greed". I've never seen people roll "need" on a Frozen Orb.
