Jul 31st 2009 1:05AM You should see the enrage for mimiron hardmode then. The whole room just freaking explodes! haha
Jul 8th 2009 5:29AM The vendor doesn't even sell it to you if you're below 80. It's not in the tooltip, it just doesn't appear on the list at all.

You do NOT stand in the small circles, EVER. You stand ONLY in the BIG circles after the snowdrifts form to escape flash freeze. The small icicle circles DO NOT cause snowdrifts.
Jul 6th 2009 10:18PM I believe that mmo-champion had an article about this. You buy each tier 9 armor piece separately with badges, not the tier token. For example, you would buy "Stormrage's Vestments of Triumph" instead of "Regalia of the Grand Vanquisher." Each T9 piece has a different price depending on the slot. ilevel 245 T9 head/chest/legs cost 75 emblems of triumph while the gloves/shoulders cost 45. T8 and below remains unchanged.

but it requires warlocks to *gasp* look at health bars O.O
Jul 1st 2009 10:42PM This article is full of inaccuracies and downright BAD advice. Chain heal does NOT target only party members. It targets the entire raid. No raid healing druid really uses Tranquility extensively. He's left out the MOST IMPORTANT resto druid raid heal spell: Rejuvenation. Perhaps he hasn't seen Rejuvenation's power on fights like Steelbreaker last. Rolling it on the entire raid with Wild Growth on cooldown is a whopping theoretical 15k sustained heal per sec at a very low mana cost. No class can even come close to a resto druid's raw output on fights with consistent raid-wide damage (Steelbreaker last, Sapphiron, Mimi P2, Hodir come to mind, as fights a resto druid really shines). In the actual Steelbreaker fight, your resto druids should be averaging 8-9k heal per second over the entire fight with no mana problems, while sniping at the tanks occasionally. And he calls resto druids "hit or miss" when it comes to raid healing.
And restricting raid healers to specific groups is VERY BAD advice. What if they have to move out of range? What if they die? What if their group must spread out because of fight mechanics? The author of this article seems to think every fight in Ulduar is a simple "melee in 1 group, ranged in 1 group" sort of scenario.
Jun 23rd 2009 9:55PM Has anyone realized that the Hunter t9 4pc is exactly the same as the hunter t5 4pc? Interesting...
Jun 19th 2009 2:45AM I think all the QQers are missing one important point: These emblems of conquest will only drop from heroic 5-mans STARTING patch 3.2. Current valor/heroism emblems will remain as they are. This means that people cannot grind heroics now and buy all the gear the moment the patch hits. It will take at least a couple of weeks before someone that has never been to ulduar gets his 2pc T8. (Assuming 3 heroics a day, 4 emblems a heroic, it's gonna take 10 days to get 116 emblems for 2 pc t8) And they'll still have to get lucky on Emalon for the other two pieces. By that time the raiders will be well into T9 content.
Jun 18th 2009 10:57PM Agreed. An emote to heal your pet (especially a noob /yell like that) will more likely cause a healer to purposely NOT heal your pet (and probably ignore you as well).
