Why is Blizzard still OK with gender inequality in World of Warcraft? {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2012 5:00PM I'm Male
I play Male Characters
I play Female Characters
No, it doesn't mean anything more past that.
There isn't much more to say.

I see Male Characters Online
I see Female Characters Online
If I play both, I fail to see why somone else wouldn't either.
So how does one automatically assume the poor performing avatar is a girl?
A good player is someone to learn from, a poor player is someone you should help
There isn't much more to say.

The Queue: Ask the beta testers {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2012 12:07PM Did they remove the 10 character limit per server?

Breakfast Topic: Do your WoW and real-life friendships overlap? {WoW}

Jan 27th 2012 4:56PM There was some question in the guild members minds whether or not a certain player was actually a girl. I told them all that I could vouch for the fact that she actually was considering she was one of my best friends. When finally the last push of "but how can YOU be sure" came about, I simply responded "Because I held her child in my hands less than three hours after it had been born."

There were no further questions asked.

No BlizzCon in 2012, Battle.net championship to be held in Asia {WoW}

Jan 25th 2012 9:43AM While I will miss Blizzcon, I totally agree with everyone else. There's no point in having one if you have nothing to say. Last years Blizzcon seemed to lack the depth that previous years have had. That's not to say it wasn't good, but it seemed that they strained to put information out rather than having boatloads and only teasing you with a taste.

That was clear with the hero vs. hero game coming soon and the infamous MoP trailer
(You've fought all these bosses, and do you know who's next? Well... we don't either, but there will be Pandas and Pokemon!)

Breakfast Topic: Who should play your character in the WoW movie? {WoW}

Oct 27th 2011 3:00PM I'm an undead Warlock, so naturally it would have to be Charlie Sheen. but it appears that he's playing half the cast already.

5 reasons you should love Mists of Pandaria {WoW}

Oct 24th 2011 3:23PM Lily, I've been playing Warcraft since the original game, Warcraft 2, plus the expansion, Warcraft III, and all copies of Starcraft and Diablo including collectors Editions. I have all the Warcraft comics, so please make sure you know what you're attacking before you lash out with the blanket ignorant statement. If you are doing as such to the defense of Ms. Stickney, you will also notice I have apologied for such actions.

While the Pandaren have always been there, I wouldn't exactly classify them as lore. The point you are making about WC3, and the Pandaren Watering Hole were an Easter Egg within the level. I amy also point out that there was also a Hydralisk you could use as a controlable soldier as well, but I wouldn't classify that as part of Warcraft lore that a lone Zerg was in Night Elf territory. We saw it, we chuckled, and we moved on.

It wasn't ignorance that I didn't reference all the other points. I just didn't think I needed to point out all the places where it was "Hey look at this!"
We saw it, we chuckled, and we moved on.

You'll see in my original post I never said that *I* personally believed the Pandaren were a bad thing. If we can have from the getgo Native American Cows, there's nothing spiritually diferent with having Japanese cultured Pandas. I mearly stated why it appears that people are reacting the way that they do.

They are now making an official addition to the game an item that was once reguarded as something you saw, chuckled at, and moved on.

Yes, that's going to be akward.

Oct 24th 2011 3:02PM Ah, I misunderstood the point you were making. In that case I am fully with you. My apologies, if any are needed.

It is exactly the same way I feel about the whole Free Diablo3 if you lock in a year of payments. On the surface it sounded fantastic, then suddenly my mind took to a darker tone of "Why would they give a free game if we continued to play? What *isn't* happening when the Star Wars MMO is only a few months away"
