Patch 4.3 PTR: Shaman class changes {WoW}

Sep 28th 2011 12:01PM I'm disappointed to see nothing done with the AI for totems and elementals.

Breakfast Topic: Is it time to update WoW character models yet? {WoW}

Jan 19th 2010 8:15AM I believe the graphics need to stay the same, it's one of the good selling points of WoW is just because flat out anybody can run it on their PC, compared to other new MMOs that want to go "all out" on graphics (cough AoC) and there's only a small amount of people that can touch it.

What I do think they can do is add more customization your character. Such as faces, hair, scars, etc. Now, I don't mean like scaling and such like ME or DAO, just more choices.

So...My opinion it's yes, I think there are some things that really need to be updated, and this game has been out for quiet awhile, just so long as the graphics upgrade change isn't as bad as Star Wars Galaxies, because that was absolutely terrible.

How the WoW community is about to push the self-destruct button {WoW}

Dec 13th 2009 12:54PM I don't think everyone that voices their dissatisfaction with the game a flaming troll. I'll take for example Star Wars Galaxies, the community when on a flat out out rage against the CU change, even strikes in game (how you do that I have no idea.) Yet the dev team didn't listen, the CU came, and then the game tanked, course this is hoping that Blizzard never treads the same path as SOE.

Anyways, GC does post good things, yet at the same time he paints a target on his back every time he replies to a troll thread with one of his witty comments, just lock the thread, move on, no harm done.

Which brings me to my issue with him. When we have all these constructive posts, etc, it really does seem he replies more to the trolls, just fueling the fire, then actually talking with the "minority" that actually wants to help bring change. I mean really, I play an Elemental shaman (oh boy), and when all we wanted was answers, we get him to reply some flaming retard Elemental post with another witty comment. Of course the issue was he said things that really the Elemental community probably could have done with out, no news is better then bad news really, and with it just dropped a gas tank on an already raging fire.

Personally I believe people on the forums should have an opportunity to vent, as long as it's just voicing concerns really, not hate mongering against the Dev team or GC, I say this mainly because it shows that well people aren't thrilled about something.

WoW Moviewatch: Ulduar: In the Mountains {WoW}

Dec 8th 2009 3:28PM Ending Credits = Epic beyond all belief.

The video was awesome though, good stuff, but those credits just brought a smile to my face.

Breakfast Topic: Which tier 10 bonuses appeal the most to you? {WoW}

Oct 11th 2009 8:19AM I wish I could say Elemental, but the set bonus for both 2 and 4 piece are pretty bad...Hopefully they listen and change it, or hopefully the actual stats will make up for it....

Cataclysm starting zone lore and other new details revealed {WoW}

Sep 27th 2009 8:13PM Thrall will not die, most likely not. Going to show my nerdiness here, but in the comics it strongly points out that he will be joining up with the Guardian Council, helping to train Med'an.

He has declined in the first comic due to him stating that his priorities is the Scourge, but knowing Thrall, he and a few others always look to fighting for the greater good, consider his future being similar to Tirion's. To where the Argent Crusade puts their differences aside to actually grow some common sense and work together instead of fighting one another.

I do think something will happen though that will make Thrall outraged with Garrosh, but I'm going to give Garrosh the benefit of the doubt and assume he's going to do something during Wrath to make Thrall proud enough to the point of saying, "finally."

Because let's face it, in the comic Thrall points out he's tired of being Warchief, think of him as George Washignton (I know, I know) He's there, but he really doesn't want to be there.

Ghostcrawler to take a break from the forums {WoW}

Sep 26th 2009 10:05PM Personally I had a Love/Hate for GC...

There would be at times to where he would post things that were informative and cool. Such as long the long awaited reply on his thoughts of ToW and DP. (That being the issue of two major buffs Ele and Demo bring.)

Other times, he would reply to posts, and kind of set himself up for trouble when he fed the trolls. Which he did do on many occassions to be honest. Which in my opinion, should have been locked and or deleted with out putting a smirky comment, especially in a game that a lot of people play. It's almost like celebrities to be honest, the people are waiting for you to screw up and are going to crucify ya when you do.

He's been better then most of the Blues on posting though on thoughts, etc. Sad to see people who posted constructive things are the ones suffering out of this.

Totem Talk: The Future Soon {WoW}

Sep 7th 2009 10:42PM The Goblins that are joining the Horde in this expansion are the very same that assisted the Horde during WC2. When the Horde lost they went on their own way ended up on the isles, and became slaves to the local Troll population.

As people will state with such things as "HOLY COWS?!" times are changing, diplomacy is changing, and so is the culture. For instance, take example of the Dreanei and their take on shamanism. It's still very young but has "bleed" into their culture, the same can be same about our new (yet some what old) allies.

For the take on totems, from my understanding the Tauren totems will be the current ones that every Horde race is using, mainly because you see the same style from the race. Orcs I imagine something intimidating, Trolls voodoo, Goblins.....Kinda a scary thought, lol.

As for the changes to the class in general, I'm hoping some good happens. From me having three different shaman, one for each class, my main being Elemental; I pray for good things, especially to be honest the spec has received a cold shoulder and let's face it, 3.2 was some what a slap to the face to Elemental when all you get is a tool tip change.

Champions Online launch day round-up {WoW}

Sep 1st 2009 1:34PM I enjoyed my time in the beta with Champions, sadly it reminds me of CoV/H (Because it's made by the same people) which isn't a bad thing, but in my opinion it doesn't feel like it's worth the $15 a month.

Also from my understanding with the 360 version, there won't be an additional charge. To be honest, I'm curious on how it'll pan out on the 360.
