Nov 22nd 2010 3:34PM You know First Aid is becoming obsolete when you can level a warrior from 1-80, never touch First Aid, and can only recall stopping to eat a handful of times.
Nov 19th 2010 9:49AM I taught 12 year olds (and younger) for years.
No innocence was ruined because of this guy's nsfw chat, no child was scarred because of this guy's nsfw chat.
Once you hear some of the things these kids say in school, YOU'RE more likely to be scarred by what they say than they are by what you say.
Nov 18th 2010 12:19PM OK so this is not a trolling post. This is an actual honest question:
Is anyone else out there reading this wondering what is going on? I am honestly surprised at the number of people who are emotionally attached to the game and are "sad" and "heartbroken" over terrain changes.
Do I get happy when I play the game? Sure, 4 manning Eregos with 5 minutes left to get "Make it Count" when it was still hard to do certainly made me happy.
Do I get mad when I play the game? Sure, a DK Deathgripping my target while I am tanking certainly gets me mad.
Am I sad and heartbroken that the Barrens will be in 2 zones and, or that the the leadership of the horde will be different? No. It's a game.
Anyone else out there the type of person who didn't get sad when Hedwig died because it was a book? I feel this is the same...
Aug 25th 2010 11:48AM "So, druids actually got the short end of the stick, because we got no AOE heal spell."
May 29th 2010 10:46AM I have an irrational fear of deep water (could not play Bioshock...when the game started I was like wtf are you kidding me? I averted my eyes while I swam to shore and made my wife tell me when I got there. Completely gave up when part of the plane crashed through one of the underwater walkways.)
With that being said, any of the swimming parts I generally don't like in game. Particularly the ones where you have to swim and go find and kill whales/sharks/etc.
I am NOT looking forward to a completely underwater zone in Cataclysm.
Apr 14th 2010 4:44PM Spriests are one spec of a class with 3 options, just like all the others. Spriests are not a class unto themselves.
Ret pallies won't be using the new blinding shield ability, the mage fire orb ability will be better for fire mages than the other specs, non-resto shammies won't care about the aoe-heal, etc, etc, etc. Spriests got a nuke. That is good news.
A lot of the 'awesome' abilities that are popping up aren't useful for all 3 specs (note, I said a lot...the pally guardian thing is pretty sweet though), and I have yet to see a Cataclysm update for a class that had 1 spec get all abilities that they can fully utilize.
PS: I have no hate for spriests, I have an 80 priest that has never been anything other than shadow. I refuse to heal on him because I don't enjoy it.

Getting booted for 2.8k dps in a heroic is pretty absurd, your group should feel bad for booting you even if the recount meters were right. There will be people doing much less than that I'm sure, afterall, heroics are for people that need to gear up for raids. Crafted gear and dungeon drops will only take you so far. But now with people farming heroics in TotC gear, they see everyone not doing 6k and go into nerdrage.
My mage as of 2 days ago (before I started farming heroics) was in heroic ready gear. I did not gear him out because I just hit 80 a few weeks prior and thought it best to wait so I could farm heroics and get T9 gear. That means I'm doing heroic level dps of around 3-5k boss fights dependng on the fight, buffs, other classes, etc. I did get a "mage ur dps is low" comment yesterday. Well if you inspect me and see that I'm not in full T9.5, and in a few ilevel 187's still, maybe you'd understand why its lower than yours. I'm gearing for my main spec on an alt, you are farming for your offspec on your main (or for shards, or for gems, or for whatever reason you are in there with your ilevel 232+ gear).

Nov 19th 2009 11:59AM Booooo for bad Richard Gere movie reference.
Booooo for me actually getting the reference (In my defense, I worked at a movie theater when it came out)
Oct 30th 2009 11:57AM See, the thing is, I'm playing a game. Whoever is the horde leader ISN'T REAL. It's a game. Game game game game game game game. I know the horde areas, I know the quests, and the hubs, I can level alts quickly. If one fake leader gets replaced by another fake leader, my life is not going to change.
It's not like we are talking about a Bush getting elected to a 3rd term and people defecting to Canada.
