Feb 2nd 2011 5:28AM Part of me was expecting you to start quoting Ezekiel 25:17 as well ;)
Oct 7th 2010 7:30PM I prefer using Mooncloth bags myself. They also offer 16 slots, but they don't bind when equipped - so I can later mail those bags to another alt when I no longer need them. My main is a tailor, so they're easy to come by as well for me.
@Pyromelter: I don't expect to see much of a change in the sales of those scrolls, since as far as I can tell they're almost exclusively used by twinks and people in heirloom gear. And if you want to buy heirloom gear you will want to do that before 4.0.1, when it becomes crazy expensive, so you'll probably have that gear enchanted too before Cata hits.
I've never seen someone blow a +30sp enchant on his level 5 grey staff. New players won't have the gold to pay for those anyway, and all people I know don't bother to spend gold and time on enchanting gear that only lasts until the next quest anyway.
Sep 26th 2010 4:47AM MMO-Champion says November 2
Amazon says November 23
My local gamestore says November 19 (or at least that's the date their supplier put into the system)
I think I'll just wait for Blizz's official announcement before planning a week off ;)
Jul 3rd 2010 8:54PM I'd be really surprised at any Arcane Blast damage occurring at all, since you just cast 2 Fireballs...
Whether each occurrence of incoming damage during the 3 seconds since the first event will be 3 seconds delayed, or if there are 3 seconds to stack damage which will then be dealt all at once, I don't know. I do know I would give my firstborn for the latter though :)
May 9th 2010 7:36AM Can't help but think of the good old days in Karazhan :)
I raided frost back then and usually topped the meters in our guild. Of course the bugged Elemental Precision talent helped too. It gave +3% chance to hit with spells, but due to a bug you got +6% for Frostbolt. Which meant 126 hit rating was enough to reach the cap as a frostmage, leaving more item budget for raw spellpower ^_^
May 7th 2010 4:00PM "this level of message control is a bit odd when people can access the information so easily elsewhere."
No it isn't. When I wish to view Cataclysm spoilers I will Google for them.
When I'm on the official Blizzard forums, I do not expect to be confronted with spoilers for as of yet unreleased content. I want to be surprised, intrigued, mesmerized and whatnot by everything that Cataclysm will bring, so thank you Blizzard for trying to keep the official forums a safe place for people like me :)
May 3rd 2010 2:56PM @Avan: Your approach on a rendered face being slightly off shows a lot of similarities with the so-called 'Uncanny valley' For those interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncanny_valley.
May 3rd 2010 1:26PM @Transit: Well at least that player asked for directions. Wouldn't be the first time someone couldn't be arsed and just spirit rezzed...

You aren't aware of how many lines of code are in this game, are you?
Oh boy, that one is getting old... I think it's a safe assumption that data about which quests you have completed already is stored in a database. Therefore it doesn't matter how many lines of code there are. All they have to do is properly reset the quest, eithet manually or by letting the 'completed' flag expire automatically.
And it just amazes me that this particular bug keeps popping up, as much as it amazes me that they apparently haven't taken a more proactive approach since the previous times.
May 2nd 2010 1:26PM Blizzard are making a bit of a fool of themselves, considering that this particular glitch has occurred before on several occassions.
I do hope they will either fix it fast or extend the event.
