Sep 11th 2010 12:53PM As long as Thassarian is back I could care less about the rest of the Ebon Blade. That guy's quest chain was badass.
Sep 11th 2010 12:49PM I would say close enough to zero to completely ignore.
Sep 10th 2010 2:56PM The only thing I can see that this accomplishes is it cuts off people who haven't bought the expansion from using flying mounts in Azeroth. I dislike this because I won't get to fly around as soon as 4.0 hits and will have to wait until I get the expansion, but I also object because, if it does indeed require Cataclysm, it will cut off new players leveling their mains through Outland or Northrend from flying when they visit Azeroth (assuming they haven't bought all the expansions ahead of time).
I don't see any reason for this; you could make an argument for Blizzard getting paid for their work on remodeling Azeroth, but really those people flying in Azeroth without Cataclysm would be such a minority it's unlikely to be a serious issue.
Sep 2nd 2010 10:02PM There are a lot of good ways to use the Beacon. I usually put it on my primary target and heal other people, but lots of people put it on a secondary target or themselves and heal the main tank. Whatever way works for you is good.
Sep 2nd 2010 9:58PM I play a holy pally and I always feel like everyone's health is lower than it should be whenever it's not at full. I do love me a pally-druid combo though.
Sep 2nd 2010 9:45PM Yes, actually, that is how statistics work. In 52 tries with a 0.1% chance of success each time you have a 5.07% chance of success overall. You are referring to the fact that each individual attempt has a 0.1% chance of success regardless of the number of previous failed attempts, which was not disputed. Please actually learn statistics before you argue with people about statistics, people say that a lot and it really annoys me.
In 693 tries you have a 50% chance of getting the mount.
Aug 26th 2010 5:08PM Remember though, that it is not "four years after they supposedly landed" for your new Draenei. The passage of time is character specific, so for your brand new Draenei the Exodar JUST crashed and the events of BC and WoTLK won't happen until you reach those zones.

They've explicitly said that caster weapons will still trade DPS for SP, but all OTHER items will lose it. I think you should find some examples of caster items that aren't weapons.
Aug 14th 2010 2:49AM Not really. It seems like each spec's mastery ability has a base power and a scaling factor from mastery from gear. If a spec isn't scaling properly all they have to do is increase the base ability and decrease the scaling or vise versa. It's quite brilliant actually.
Apr 15th 2010 4:21PM This is a completely different issue from warriors and paladins. In this case, shamans don't heal as well when they don't need to heal as well. When paladins and warriors outgear content, their threat suffers, not their survivability.
Quite frankly, I'm suppressing the urge to call you an idiot for implying that healing meters matter, especially in content that you outgear.
