Breakfast Topic: What would be your biggest Mists of Pandaria surprise? {WoW}

Mar 18th 2012 4:17PM I would be surprised if not only character models were updated but updated for the better. Like higher resolution (something like RIFT's would be nice). Also how actually showing what necklace/rings your wearing instead of just filling a slot. Also making spells look more awesome. blizz has been doing a good job but needs to take it a step higher to compete agaisnt newer MMO's.

The biggest thing I would like to see is an emphasis in world pvp. Not the kind where you transfer to a pvp server but the kind where you raid the opposite factions city for a cool price (mount/title/gear). Yes this was done in Lich King but totally left out in Cataclysm.

And finally...A new Capital City. I'm tired of standing around Stormwind/Orgrimmar. Something more beautiful than Dalaran.

Blue Posts: No filler raid, WoW Movie (nothing new) {WoW}

Mar 16th 2012 1:06AM At every commentor: Maybe if you read the last sentence, this little blog I wrote would make much more sense.

Just to add; I did purposly leave out challenge modes and pve senarios.

Challenge modes - another harder mode (just a step above heroic).
PvE scenarios -is not on the blizz pandaria website.

I didn't counted LFR in Mist because it's a feature introduced in late Cata (notice i also didnt count it in catalysm either) . To shrikesnest: what your doing now is trying to make catalysm look bad in comparison to mist without any real information about mist.

Mar 16th 2012 12:11AM I have a feeling, come March 19, I will be very disappointed with MoP and Blizzard in general. Cataclysm, I'm sure, is bigger that what MoP will ever be. Just some quick facts (taken from wow website):

1.Two New Playable Races (goblin, worgen)
2.Level Cap Increased to 85
3.Classic Zones Remade 1-60 (incredible accomplishment even by blizz standards)
4.New High-Level Zones 80-85 (cant really count 80)
5.More Raid Content than Ever Before BoT, BWD, Tot4W, Tol Barad (when cata released)
6.New Dungeons: 7 dungeons at release date
7.New Profession Archaeology
8.Flying Mounts in Azeroth (big change for those who played the game back then)
9.New PvP Zone & Rated Battlegrounds (tol barad)
10.Guild Achievements
11.New races/class combinations

Mist of Pandaria:
1.New race: Pandas...
2.New class:Monks
3.Talent Calculator changes (blizz does this every expansion. cant count it)
4.Pet Battles (Pokeman)
5.New zone 86-90 (Pandaria is a small island that no one knows where it is)
**leveling 4 levels takes 12 hours (considering how long it took me to lvl 84-85 x4)

I can see that by the 2nd day there will be a big handful of 90's standing around somewhere wanting their money back.

If you look at what I just listed you'll see that blizzard almost cut it's gaming production by more than. Do I hate MoP? No. What I'm saying is that if this is what blizz intends to sell coming March 19, it will lose subscribers faster than ever before.

How to fix professions for Mists of Pandaria: An open letter to Blizzard {WoW}

Mar 12th 2012 4:09PM All the professions need a BIG overhaul next expansion. Not for the sake of making it better but also to be more competitive against other MMO's out there. Enginnering is by far the most broken profession out there. Inscription comes close second.

I played RIFT for the first time yesterday and I know Im going off subject here but their graphics are insane compared to wow's mediocre pixels. Just a look at their professions and I can tell you that these guys have done their homework.

I believe MoP is the beginning of the end of World of Warcraft. Pandas...really...

Breakfast Topic: What class will you never play? {WoW}

Mar 7th 2012 4:14PM I have level 10 different classes all the way to 85. People here that say that they wouldn't play a class because "they don't like healing" or "see too many hunters" don't know what kind of game they are taking for granted.

With that said; so far they really haven't sell to me personally this 'Monk' class. I know they will wear leather and they can tank, heal or dps. Aside from that I know nothing. No talents. No spells. No Gameplay.

I know blizz press conference is coming up. I sincerely hope this class not only is good, but also stands out from every other class. I don't want it to feel like I'm leveling a druid all over again.

Blue Posts: 'One of our design philosophies is: simple to learn, difficult to master,' and 15 more Blizzard posts {WoW}

Mar 7th 2012 3:40AM Here's a questrion: Why does every single Fist Weapon look the same? It seems blizzard is getting lazy when it comes to Fist Weapons...

Blizzard is up to something: 'Soon we'll fly together again ...' {WoW}

Mar 6th 2012 11:50AM I must be stupid too. I don't see any relation from the mounts or the quote for that fact to cross-faction raiding.

Most likely it is what people mentioned above. Blizz is making new mounts for people that recruit or left the game. Another way blizz will sucker people back in. Pandas...sigh...

Blizzard layoffs could mean many things {WoW}

Mar 2nd 2012 8:44PM I only hope that your right and Mist of Pandaria is as awesome as your describing it...

Blizzard layoffs could mean many things {WoW}

Mar 2nd 2012 1:42PM I'm about to say something that a lot of you may not agree. I believe blizz suscribing numbers are going to decline big time come Mist of Pandaria. Why? Well its simple. Before Catalysm release people were leaving. Some came back because of the expansion, because of deathwing. I don't feel Pandas are really an eye catcher for people who are thinking about playing wow especially those who left the game. Zones continue to become smaller. No new professions. Talent trees are broken at best right now. And the ONE thing that really is missing is a 'big bad' character.

The task of 'selling' the game falls under blizz marketing department. If they put a PANDA in a box cover I doubt theres a lot of people that are going to buy it. It might appeal the younger generation of players(think 8-16 year old players) but it fails to appeal to the older gameplayer generation, the true loyal players.

The future of blizz is murky at best. I hope that they 'wow' me during the press tour or I will be canceling my subscription.

The Queue: I would not hire Tails {WoW}

Feb 27th 2012 11:09AM Such a shame that I won't be able to send my heirlooms to my Panda. I have 10 alliance characters and would like to experience the 'dark side' next expansion . I hear that they had cookies :D
