Dec 7th 2010 10:35PM Howdy.
Sep 3rd 2010 10:41AM Call me a n00b, but what's the point of knowing how much you've spent on flight masters? An "analysis" of that number causes what reaction or change in gameplay? Are these addons just a case of statkeeping, or is it for the forgetful who wake up wondering why they have no gold but their tailoring skill is now improved?
Sep 1st 2010 10:29AM Just because nerds are being directly marketed to and are in regular communication with each other does not mean there is less stigma. If you have cancer and are only around other cancer patients you might start to think the same thing. But then when you're back around normal humans you know that is certainly not the case.
The reality is that cliques shall always exist and certain people will always treat geeks as inferior, no matter how much the geek proclaims their own geekhood in some sort of self-diluted expression of self-liberation. It's as if, hypocritically, they are proud to be part of their own exclusive geek clique, the exact thing they tend to resent when excluded from other social groups.
This sort of self-labeling is harmful for genuine emotional development.
Aug 31st 2010 9:11AM I'm not tired of it, because I haven't read any of it. I'm happily leveling a few alts right now including a Tauren druid "main alt" (now 47) for the first time, and making lots of loot selling low-level mats as I guess some people are tweaking professions to get ready for Cata.
Aug 5th 2010 1:55PM "What are you an infant?!"
"We have to get out of here before one of those things kills Guy!"
Jul 21st 2010 11:11AM I wonder if the "snubbing" of Saurfang in naming the new Warchief and the apparent maturation of Garrosh means that Thrall and Garrosh (and maybe even Saurfang?) are in league together? Maybe at this point in time they're secretly more concerned about the survival of the orc race despite this outward show of alliegance to the Horde.
Jul 1st 2010 2:15PM You should contact that Jim Surge guy who used to run UWoW and did excellent podcast reviews. I don't think he's up to much of anything these days (there is a rumor that someone is going to take over the blog), but he listens to hundreds of gaming podcasts a week!
Jun 28th 2010 3:14PM The entrance to my lair has a poster of Millard Fillmore, the 13th President of the U.S.. That's good enough for me. I don't wear earrings so you can check that off the list and Thrall probably would approve of my bedding because it is sensible, sturdy, and lightweight.
Feb 16th 2010 3:47PM Have been loving Rossi on the podcast since the switch-up. KUTGW
Jan 5th 2010 9:33PM I know you people only know anything that is from the the last 5-10 years (I bet you think Daugherty is the greatest band ever too), but All in the Family is still the greatest sit-com ever for anyone with critical thinking skills.
