Patch 3.2 PTR unveils Tier 9 sets {WoW}

Jun 24th 2009 4:10AM Wow... seriously hoping that the MMO champion screenshots of those models are truly placeholders. Druids look like rogues and a lot of them are just mismatched pieces of awful.

Breakfast Topic: Are patches too fast, too furious? {WoW}

Jun 8th 2009 5:55AM Two guilds have killed Algalon? I can think of 4 off the top of my head (Ensidia, Underground Kosmonauts, Apathy and Gentlemens Club)

Feb 9th 2009 10:13AM The Horde doesn't need a separate legion for it's badasses; it's already completely badass ;)

Pronouncing character names correctly {WoW}

Feb 6th 2009 4:59AM Why is mispronunciation of your random (often made-up) name a big surprise? No matter what server you play on, there will be people from a massive range of geographical locations and a huge array of dialects and accents. Of course combinations of letters and vowels will be pronounced by others in a different way to what you envisaged when you thought "Xyymatolarcin" looked like an awesome name for a rogue (and yeah I just made that one up on the spot) :P

Pronouncing character names correctly {WoW}

Feb 6th 2009 4:52AM "Veera" is how pretty much anyone in Britain (or anywhere else that is familiar with the name) would pronounce the name Vera, seeing as it's a real name and that is how it is pronounced IRL..

Breakfast topic: The good old days {WoW}

Dec 12th 2008 8:55AM Repeat post? There's another WI article called 'Wrath Babies' or something, of which the entirety of the comments section could be posted here with little difference.

The children of Wrath {WoW}

Dec 2nd 2008 7:49AM Ahh the memories. What these little newbies will never know:

No battlegrounds whatsoever - Closest thing you got was Tarren Mill & Southshore! Epic times...
And then the battlegrounds came along, and you had to be invited to the raid! And the average AV game lasted for an average brutally epic 9 hours - with every summoned help used :D

How epic Scholomance was. What an awesome instance, and the sheer excellence of dungeon sets (when the only other gear upgrade was in 40-man Molten Core!)

When anyone over level 40 with a mount was a rare sight to behold, and level 60's were gods!

Pure stats... none of this spell power, +hit, expertise, dodge (!)

When a 'DK' was a Dishonourable Kill and not a Death Knight!

ahh.. so long ago now :)
