Neutral Auction houses (and putting them in Northrend) {WoW}

Mar 24th 2009 9:20PM Bah, I didn't notice Sajt's post when I put mine in... >.

Neutral Auction houses (and putting them in Northrend) {WoW}

Mar 24th 2009 9:19PM Personally, I think they could add one in Shat. It would allow easier access to the neutral AH (through the Dalaran portal) and wouldn't bring a higher player count in Dalaran itself.

And the same could be done to Dalaran after the next expansion is out to. That would give the older 'hub' cities a higher population, without making the lag in them too bad.

Sprite Darters and Westfall Chickens for the Horde {WoW}

Mar 9th 2009 4:54PM Alliance has been favored for a lot of things. Pets, Mounts, better city design (placement, defense and achievement location), better starting areas (IMO), etc... And of course, when Blizzard tries to even out things, they complain more...

Finally the only exclusive pet can now be obtained by both factions and I'm happy for it.

For those complaining that Ally still has to hope seeing the Black Tabby in the AH, then Horde should get the Sprite Darter as a guaranteed quest reward instead of a random drop which will probably be to the rarity of the four dragon Whelps... or have our own "Little Timmy" in Org...

Or maybe we should move to mounts. How about the Winterspring Frostsaber? What happened to the special Raptor mount that the Horde were supposed to get as their equivalent of the Wintersping Frostsaber? Blizz mentioned a lot of times that it was going to finally get added, but alas, nothing. And, Alliance has (until recently... and even then) always been able to get their hands on Horde ground mounts: The White Hawkstrider, the Brewfest Kodo, the Razzashi Raptor, the Deathcharger's Reins (4 out of the 5 Horde ground mounts)... So far, the only Alliance mounts the Horde can get is the Swift Zulian Tiger and the Swift Brewfest Ram (2 out of 5). Also, Alliance was lucky in getting their 'neutral' flying mount (Hippogryph) added to fly while the Horde's version (the Bat) is still unavailable...

These changes are finally happening, and the Alliance that have more opportunities and chances at getting extras over the Horde complain. Wonderful.

Breakfast Topic: Pick a title, any title {WoW}

Mar 6th 2009 5:18PM Personally? I want an achievement and title for running the Raids and Heroics without any Pant gear on.

Nightmaiden the Pantless!

Analysis of Druid changes in 3.1 {WoW}

Feb 5th 2009 4:19PM Well, I originally dropped my Bear Druid in order to get a DK tank for my guild and I've really been waiting for Blizzard to help with the AoE problem (which I've heard mixed feelings for the Swipe 'buff').

There is one thing I'd like to know though:

"The next hit completely removes the shield regardless of how much damage was done."

Does this mean an actually 'hit' (as in, melee attack or spell)? Or would DoTs, AoE effects, etc cause the 'hit' to occur and the shield to fade?

I'm really hoping it's the former...

The Oracles' Mysterious Egg is a must-get for pet and mount collectors {WoW}

Dec 1st 2008 7:35PM One thing that I can't help but thinking: Is there even a good number of people that take Frenzyheart?

My guess is that, with the hint at the Proto-whelp, nearly everyone went Oracles and never bothered to go to Frenzyheart. I haven't met or talked to a single person on my server that WANTED to go Frenzyheart.
