In defense of ignorance {WoW}

Dec 23rd 2009 9:23AM I understand what Allison is trying to say, and i try my best to be patient with people less well geared than me. My average ilevel is 245 being the lowest, and 264 being the highest, so i'm pretty well geared, so i know as a tank, i might push past some dps.

However, i was in a pug last night, (i'm a druid feral tank) where i did 44.5% of the groups total damage over the course of the fight, and 30% of the healing. As a feral tank.

There are limits. When an 80 warrior in full epic gear can only do 846dps, which my 75 warrior in quest greens and blues can exceed, thats willful ignorance.

I hate elitism, and want people that play casually to see all the content i see, but i also expect people to at least know a single basic rotation.

Second wing of Icecrown Citadel to open in 28 days {WoW}

Dec 9th 2009 8:33AM My own view is that Blizzard is using MMO champion to 'seed' news, to put it out there and communicate with the community without officially saying something.

So when MMO champ says we'll see Arthas before April, I'm inclined to beleive that this is Blizzard telling us not to panic.

Please dont think i condone this behavior. I'd love it if Blizzard would just be upfront, and say plainly what is happening, but i also understand that internet gives a mouth to everyone, including people that should be quiet.

I would say that we'll see another portion in February, probably both the Frostwing Halls and Crimson Hall, with the Arthas coming in March.

Speculating at the patch 3.3 release date {WoW}

Oct 24th 2009 6:34AM I'm going to say November 25th or december 2nd.

Any later than that is a pointless drop. How many guilds will be able to hold a regular raising schedule over Christmas? Many guilds are going to lose people as they go on home for xmas, etc.

I also think they're not going to show us as many bosses as they have in the past with this PTR

Guildwatch: "My laywer is processing a subpoena" {WoW}

Oct 15th 2009 8:55AM That guy in the first video, that is pretending hes from ireland, hes not.

There is NO accent in Ireland that sounds like that. It sounds exactly like what it is, some fool pretending to put on his 'best' fake Irish accent.

I can only assume its some big prank. I mean, for Gods sake, his accent changed at least 3 times in the first few minutes alone.

I couldn't even listen to it for the length of it, the accent was that bad.

Is WoW being run by its B-team? Is that bad? {WoW}

Jul 15th 2009 6:49AM I seriously doubt its the b-team. The idea that Blizzard had this extra-ordniary team of super stars, that has never experienced attrition, re tasking or movement over the past 8-10 years is, well, ludicrous.

I'm sure the team has changed, and I'm sure that some people have changed roles within Blizzard, but i seriously doubt, to the point of calling the original blogger a liar, that blizzard just turned around and said 'sure thing guys, just hand the keys to the kingdom over to the interns, and sloppy joe, sure, who cares what happens now?'

What we have now then, are a lot of the 'me, me, me' raiders, who assume that the game must, without any compromise, revolve around them, getting pissed that the game doesn't focus on them, and then deciding that blizzard is the problem. It couldn't be that blizzard have said, we need to please everyone, so instead it must be sloppy design work.

THe problem is only made worse then, as forums, and the internet allow people to blow of steam, and make (watch the capitals) UNBELIEVABLY over the top claims, to the point of insulting, knowing that behind their anonymity, they are safe to say things they never would in person. These stupid claims get pounced on, and like some infectious madness, it spreads, until some ideal version of the game is created in peoples head, that never existed.

The game is now delivering more content to more players than ever before.

Only the most selfish, egotistical self absorbed people could consider this a bad thing, and then try and blame on reasons as woeful and pitiful as 'its the designers, they suck'

Breakfast Topic: Should raid progression even be tracked anymore? {WoW}

Dec 4th 2008 9:18AM Myria

if you dont like the game, then just get lost

i wish i could tell you what i really want, but it sounds duck tourself

people like you just dont get it, you're still living in the dreamworld where you think a game of 11 million subscribers should be built on your expectations.

i pay the exact same amount of money as you, and i am over the moon with this expansion. I;m no hard core raiding junkie, yet i'm now in aposition to see aspects of the game i never would have before.

What are you going to about that tough guy?

QQ more?

Personally, it makes my day to know you're unhappy
