Breakfast Topic: Design yourself as a raid boss {WoW}

Apr 5th 2011 12:19PM Me and a friend once joked about this. We would be a holy priest and a shadow priest duo.
We'd randomly MC people, after putting up shields on the both of us. (Dps shield down and interrupt).
We'd keep POM ticking around, together with renews. A lightwell would be put down every 3min which we spam. (= DPS the lightwell down).

The shadowpriest would dps random people. No aggrotable. On a certain % the shadowpriest could use despersion and the holy priest could use Guardian Spirit around 5% HP left. No shared manapool. If one of us dies, we enrage!

Key to the fight= lots of interrupts on the healer, manage the damage from the shadow priest. DPS the lightwell.

A fight without a tank! Wouldn't that be fun! :D

Breakfast Topic: Have you spotted your own game design ideas in game? {WoW}

Mar 11th 2011 8:50AM The first christmas in outlands I made a ticket to a GM asking him why the reindeers couldn't fly. He called me a retard and claimed they can't. To which I replied they can in the story. He tried to get rid of me by redirecting me to the suggestion forums.
I went to the suggestion forums and posted my idea.

Next christmas... Reindeers could fly! OMG!

Enter to win a Blazing Hippogryph and other loot {WoW}

Jul 29th 2010 7:29AM I'd like to win! ^^ hehe

Breakfast Topic: Have you ever actually met a GM in-game? {WoW}

Jun 7th 2009 9:09AM I've met one once, I lost an item and I asked it back. The GM whisped me saying everything was ok and in the mail. And as usual he asked if "there is anything else". So I asked him if I could see him. I was all alone in ZA after clearing the instance. He did a /wave at me and walked towards me, and disappeared 5sec later. =D

Forum post of the day: Be disciplined about healing meters {WoW}

May 18th 2009 5:51AM Meters don't say everything... They really don't. I'm not saying I don't look at them after a boss try or after the raid, but for other stuff then "who tops the meters!". Disc is indeed low on the lists, but there is a new recountaddon called "recountguessedabsorbs" where they keep track of absorbed damage. It gives an idea about what disc is doing with absords (A LOT!). Absorbs are things that always come before heals, no overabsorbing,... Disc shields are good, and having a disc priest in my team is for me a must (reason I'm holy / disc). Making a disc go holy just for more hps... *sigh*

Officers' Quarters: Fragmentation {WoW}

May 12th 2009 7:09AM "The only fault I can say in this situation is being unprepared." I agree on the fact that being unprepared is a mistake they have made. And they are feeling the consequences from it as well. But the reaction the other healers make is wrong. I agree a 100% they should've discussed this matter before even going in Ulduar (my guild had a lootcouncil deciding who'll get it without any of the possible candidates 2 weeks before 3.1. hit). The reason people may be unhappy has also something to do with the decision being made the moment itself. I agree on that (you shouldn't understand me wrong). I just feel, even if the decision is made before or after or while looting a piece, there will always be people who agree, cba who get it or be annoyed and disappointed with the decision. I suppose that's just human nature, the difference would've been is if they made the decision 2 weeks before they had 2 weeks time to talk it over with the other healers while now, they're in the middle of Ulduar with 2 healers refusing to heal.

So, I agree with your comment, not making the decision before a fragment dropped IS WRONG, but the way healers are reacting IS WRONG too. That's what I wanted to point out, you cannot please everyone.

Officers' Quarters: Fragmentation {WoW}

May 11th 2009 6:40PM You'll always have healers who don't agree with the decision. We discussed the mace before going to ulduar. We decided the 1st healer and the 2nd healer, but they were not written in stone. Now, I'm an officer and healing leader and I got the first fragments (on 6 now! yay). When the first fragment dropped we had a lot of different reactions going from "GRATZ" to "Why did Mara get it?" to "How fucking typical!". But the way those 2 are reacting is just plain childish. If you are the best choice then stand by it! The only fault I can say in this situation is being unprepared.

Raid Rx: 10 clutch healing and tanking abilities {WoW}

May 11th 2009 8:46AM Tanks and healers not communicating will probably end up in failure. Eventhough I don't always agree with the tanks I do what they ask for because in the end, if I want them to do something for me they'll do the same. Cooldowns assigning in Ulduar is a must! When I know the tank of Mimiron for example I always talk to him to get a rotation going for plasma blasts.

Officers' Quarters: Account sharing + officer = bad {WoW}

Apr 15th 2009 7:00AM I used to share accounts but the moment I was promoted I changed my pass etc. I'm the only one who can log on my account now and I think that's the best. Friends shouldn't be able to look around in the guild bank or secretly listen to officer chat claiming they're me.
