Patch 3.2.2 changes for Druids {WoW}

Sep 25th 2009 1:22PM Not sure if its intentional, but, when im healing on my druid with my guildies who completely outgear the heroic instances, I like to roll some hots on the tank and then cast hurricane to help speed up the run. Well last night I noticed that, when I was in tree and cast hurricane, it would begin to cast the spell, and right after I shapeshift because Im casting a balance spell, it would cancel the hurricane channeled effect. I used cyclone in tree and it didnt stop the cast. My guess because its a channeled not a casting spell that when you are forced to change forms it cancels the channeled spell. I hope this is just a bug cus it gets annoying to spend the mana to start hurricane to only have it cancelled!

Scattered Shots: Running solo with Tenacity {WoW}

Jul 16th 2009 2:57PM I agree bears have the AOE tanking down pat with the thunderstomp and swipe. Also, I would suggest in the pet talents to get Roar of Sacrifice (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=53480) in that it makes AOE leveling / grinding / farming super easy. Have your pet grab a couple close by mobs, then you run around grabbing other further away mobs with ranged, once they close in, Roar of Sacrifice (12 sec ability with a 30 sec CD 20sec if you specd into Longevity) which will take all the damage from you and deals it to the pet, FD, Mend pet, once the pet thunderstomps, lay down explosive trap, and volley away. By the time your done with that mob, RoS (Roar of Sacrifice) will be off CD and your ready for another mass of mobs. Last Stand is nice for the pet in kinda Oh $#!^ situations but it has a 6 min CD or 4.25mins with Longevity. I think for leveling /grinding / farming RoS is better for this.

Cheers

Class Q&A: Warrior {WoW}

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Wrath specs for leveling Fury Warriors {WoW}

Dec 5th 2008 4:59PM I forgot to mention this spec is leaning way towards Raiding/Instances.
Also I would like to comment that putting talents into Improved Execute is (raiding speaking) a waste of time. In a raid situation or just a 5 man, your blooding up the bossy, get him/her/it down to 20%, you see that execute light up and want to hit right? Well, did you check your rage meter out? If your not 100/100 on your rage and executing your actually doing less dmg then you would be doing a BT, WW, even HS. So save that savory rage burner for when your full on rage and watch those high crit number from a full rage execute. MMm 6000dmg is nice huh? LOL I would suggest the glyph of execute, helps out for maxing executes dmg :)

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Wrath specs for leveling Fury Warriors {WoW}

Dec 5th 2008 4:51PM Bloodsurge is a must have...Do not suggest otherwise...Slam is a HUGE part of the Fury DPS rotation now its obserd. Just remember that when you crit with your Bloodthirst and see that nice large number of say for example 2000dmg crit, aww too bad you just missed out on a free 1200-2100dmg you could get off that insta-slam. Cleave is nice for when you AOE when your WW is on CD, but seriously...you are waay gimping your DPS by speccing out of Bloodsurge...This is my spec im rolling with at 80 http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LhrczfhZhxx0E0ubxRVzAo
And yes I put points in Rend, it actually does good dot dmg, I made a macro to stance dance and rend so Im going to put that into my rotation. When everything is working right, crits proc'ing insta-slams, White dmg makes up about 25-30% of my total dmg to a mob.
Someone made a good point about pally's Might can take care of the Battle Shout< yes in a raid it can where you have more then just one or two pallies. That Might is better ONLY if he specced into it, so if you have a ret pally or someone nice enough to spec into it, or if you dont care too much of min/maxing well then yeah by all means drop those points. Soo here is my tree if our guild is graced with a ret pally lol http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LhrczfhZhxg0VcubxRVzAo
