Feb 28th 2011 12:18PM What's going to happen to Valor points when 4.1 hits? From what I remember, Blizz said that when new tiers of gear release, the old tier becomes purchasable with Justice Points. I assume this means existing Valor points get converted to Justice Points...but what if you're already at the JP cap? Do the extras get converted to gold?

Gold Capped: Sleazy auctioneers and giving away trade secrets {WoW}

Oct 28th 2010 3:36PM While I also get angry at getting immediately undercut by that guy who camps the AH all day, I don't know if that really makes him "jerky." As long as he isn't already undercutting below cost, I always have the option to keep lowering my list price until either a.) The guy stops undercutting me or b.) He buys me out.

It's not that different from raiding. I would like to have gotten the gear from heroic LK. However, I don't have the time to dedicate to multiple nights of raiding over the timespan of several weeks/months. As a result, I settle for whatever I can get on normal mode. Because other people are willing to put in 10-15+ hours a week into raiding, does that mean they're being jerks because they have better gear than I do? Of course not. If I wanted to down HLK, I would have made the additional time commitment to do so. In the same way, if I want to list my items at a higher price, I have to put in the time commitment to making sure I cancel/report frequently. Otherwise, I simply list them at a lower price.

Granted, bots are cheating, plain and simple, but this article is talking about saying people are jerks that spend serious time on the AH. Does it annoy me when people spend more time than me? Yep. Does it make them jerks? Not really.

The Queue: Patch 4.0.1 bonanza {WoW}

Oct 13th 2010 5:27PM I'm seeing conflicting reports regarding the possibility of obtaining 310% mounts between now and when Cata is released on Dec. 7.

We've got this post from yesterday stating quite clearly that if you didn't already have a 310% drake by 4.0.1, then you have to buy it.

But then we've also go this post from two days ago stating that 310% mounts are not being changed until Dec. 7 when Cata releases and that we "still have more time" to try and get them.

In addition, the latter link is actively being circulated by blues as recently as an hour ago (

So which is it? Are 310% mounts obtained between now and Dec 7 going to still be 310% or not? Should I still be angry that they pushed these mount changes in less than a week before Hallow's End begins and that's the only achievement I have left to get my 310% mount?

Oct 5th 2010 3:40PM Yep that's right. Was thinking there was 3 for some reason. I know they used to use that upstairs room, but maybe that was 2 years ago.

Oct 5th 2010 3:29PM Down to just 2 rooms at once this year? That's different than before right? Interesting.

May 1st 2009 2:50PM "Still he did go to Ulduar and was 1 shotting things that people have prepared(indirectly), months - years to undertake and still can't."

I fail to see why this is relevant at all. Him blowing up Ulduar with the most awesome shirt in the world has nothing to do with other people's raids and how long they've prepared for it. It doesn't make Ulduar any more or less meaningful, and it certainly didn't hurt those people.
