Yogg-Saron in blues {WoW}

Sep 2nd 2009 1:56PM Being the only people ever to accomplish this in the 5 or 6 months ulduar has been out isn't an achievement? These guys put in 110% of the effort alot of the raiders i take into ulduar, and have linked this article to our guild forums to quell the "We're not geared for this" QQ's when we wipe on something difficult (which is the #1 most common thing for someone to say after a few wipes). Our 10 man team did 4 towers, and it took us about 2 hours straight to do so, after spending about 2 hours a different night trying to work our group and strat out. The whole time everyone said "We CAN do this...we ARE geared for this" and we won. A positive mentality and confidence in your group is paramount in any encounter, and this is a shining example of both.

Official Cataclysm forum opens {WoW}

Sep 2nd 2009 12:38PM Myself and my guild are currently pretty divided on the whole "Overlap Content" thing, and now to have the forum go up on this coming patch with us unlocking heroic 10 man, and having a wipefest on Anub in 25, theres a lot of demorilazation amongst raiders on my server...Ulduar has kind of become old news already, and theres hardly a majority of 80's with the 10 or 25 Yogg ach.
I'd just hate for this to be another Sunwell scenario where most people never even got to see Brutallis up close, and try to revisit it puggish at the new level cap.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Raiding Gear {WoW}

Dec 26th 2008 6:39PM Great summary here, after scanning atlasloot a few dozen times, its hard to remember everything i wanted, and i did just get a hunter snatchin up arrowsong from me....but its ok i guess. As for as the raid stat guy, dont even consider it until you hit capped (361) once you have that do you best to get around 4k attack power self shouted and you should be okay.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Transitioning your role {WoW}

Dec 13th 2008 5:27PM Arms vs Fury will be an endless try to squash it, yesterday myself (Fury) and another very good warrior (Arms) went balls out on some target dummies with a couple referees in the group...we both peaked at about 2500dps on a single target. It was rough to keep up with her tho (yea she's a girl). When we went to the IF dummies, which are cleavable, i won hands down at 3300dps. So i think the whole thing boils down to which one you like better, as raiding is single target damage 80% of the time.

Warrior changes in PTR Patch 3.0.8: Dead parrot edition {WoW}

Dec 11th 2008 6:07PM Let me start by saying i play a warrior, and a warrior only....i was an early supporter of Titan's Grip and as the masses lol'd in my face...i stayed devoted to that hit cap...that big, nasty, intimidating hit cap...but at 80 i am way over the yellow hit cap with only a little badge gear, and 2 pieces from naxx...i see how they think the %5 penalty is easily overcome, but now i have tons of hit gear for what seems to be no reason...its not a coincidence the plate with the best Attack power usually comes with hit rating...but now it seems like im going to have to literally avoid hit rating entirely...silly to me, but at least we're not getting benched for rogues anymore.

Warriors are by definition a class of mindless damage junkies, this just makes it more mindless.
