Sep 23rd 2010 6:08PM eeeeep! Quest helper has caused no end of errors for me in the past. I enjoyed it when it worked, but there was a period of several months where if I had it on, I couldn't log in to Dalaran. It slowed my game significantly.
With the new in game quest tracker, I really see no reason to download this one, except possibly to see who else is on a quest with you.
Jan 20th 2010 2:54PM It may just be me...but that answer about the models being updated didn't match the question about gear at all.
The way I read the question was "Is there any plan to change it so I don't have to look like a skank in a thong? I want to wear pants." The answer, the way I read it was "female models aren't great, and when they update them, new gear will look better."
Maybe I was just reading it wrong.
Oct 21st 2009 6:02PM Also...consider the jerks who ninja raid IDs. Instead of just folks on YOUR server who may do that, you have folks from other servers, who don't care if you slander their name on your server.
Aug 31st 2009 8:45PM I can't speak for GMs, but judging from the 3-5 missloots per night (yes, or ML fails sometimes) that we have, or those moments of "oh, this wasn't as good of an upgrade as I thought." that would make a LOT of tickets. Let's say it takes them five minutes (not terribly long) to fix each of those...and I know from experience that it's probably harder than some stuff, because they send it to a specialist. So that's two GMs that have to deal with that ticket, at least one of them for five minutes, and let's say that me (who got the item) and XXXXXX the person who SHOULD have gotten the item both petition...that's 10 minutes from one missloot. My raid does that 3 times, and someone else' wait time just increased by 30 minutes.
Or I can just hand it to them now. ^_^
Aug 27th 2009 9:42AM If you really want to talk to them, make sure you're using "talk to a GM", not "report an issue". They seem to take the latter as "don't talk to me" and you're more likely to get a survey unless they've got questions for you. Even if you do just get a survey, always check your email that's registered to the account, because they're probably going to send you something that answers your question, or at least lets you know they got it.
Aug 26th 2009 10:22AM Authenticators have nothing to do with the authentication server being down. The server is what makes sure your password is correct.
Aug 13th 2009 12:55PM As excited as I am for this...I also just started a level 60 raiding guild, turning off our XP at 60. It made me sad to begin with that we'd never see Naxx, but it's a bit of a blow that we won't get to do Ony either, or get our full t2 on those toons.
Oh well. My 80s will, at least.
Aug 4th 2009 9:22AM "Trading card mounts (with the exception of the Riding Turtle for some reason) will no longer be Bind-on-Pickup from Landro Longshot, the TCG vendor. This seems intended, but we're not sure why yet -- it definitely seems as though it makes scams and RMT more likely."
How does this make scams more likely? Instead of giving some code that may or may not work for large amounts of gold, you can directly put the item "Spectral Tiger" or whatever in the trade window, and go from there. Seems to me like this would be causing a lot FEWER scams to happen.
Jul 14th 2009 2:41PM It's summer. There are more folks at home, which means more folks playing....which means more people putting in tickets. Add that to the stupid "instances cannot be launched" problem, login problems last week, and anything else that decides to break, and you have thousands of people putting in petitions....and I'm willing to bet there aren't a thousand GMs.
