May 12th 2009 4:45PM Is there any way to make a macro that will not use a glyph that you have? That seems a bit of an awkward question, but let me explain: I have a macro set up to do a random polymorph whenever I cast it, and have the glyph that makes my polymorph into a penguin. I think it would be pretty nifty to be able to have both the penguin and the sheep in the rotation. Any known way to do this, or will I have to chose between the classic and the cute?

May 12th 2009 3:10AM Is there a way to macro around a glyph, so that the glyph isn't always used? For example, I've got a macro going with all of my various polymorphs, and I have the glyph that turns your regular sheep into a penguin. As adorable as that is, it would be nifty to work sheep into the equation, especially as it seems to be more and more rare to see a mage actually using a sheep.

Dual spec issues and how to fix them {WoW}

Apr 19th 2009 6:10AM Blizz changed a LOT of code in this patch, and a ton of addons broke. In fact, a ton of addons break every patch. It's important to sort those out and re-download the updates before starting to get too upset.

And if you didn't get an answer in the first two days, try again. They've probably calmed down. Heck, they may not have known what was going wrong the first day or two, but probably have had time to figure it out.

Apr 19th 2009 6:06AM For's not just the WTF folder. That by itself doesn't fix much. It's like Karilyn said...addons and other things that we do to our UIs can make things fubar, and they've got to rule out things on our end before they can start plugging away at things on their end. I tend to delete those three folders (WTF, Interface, and Cache) monthly, and update my addons at the same time, and it has helped so much...with everything from quests not working to lag problems.

Apr 14th 2009 7:52PM Would you rather them take the time to get it right now, or lose all your mounts or weapons again?

Or have orcs in tiny shoulders...heh.

Apr 14th 2009 6:40PM You may want to include the "Reset User interface" emails that Blizz sends out to anyone with a UI problem....cause ya know, addons ALWAYS break after patches.

Apr 14th 2009 6:30PM No. Only things that you bought. The system surely has a record of how you acquired the item.

Apr 12th 2009 9:52AM If you're taking about the George RR Martin books....I ended up throwing one across the room when a certain favorite character appeared to have been killed. SO much loss in that series.
