Mar 7th 2011 8:18AM I had the same epiphany the other day. As luck would have it, I was bored with WoW and friends were quitting, so it was rather painless to cancel my sub. I've already logged too many hours on Civ5, have a level 38 Avenger in Torchlight, and have been eyeballing some 'older' games that I never played - kotor, red alert 3, the witcher, to name a few.
It's sad, realizing that I stuck with WoW for so longer, even when I was no longer having fun just because there was so much left to do. I hope that I can game in the future without that feeling of necessary completion sucking the fun out of them all.

May 13th 2010 9:26AM I happily afk out when I realize that I'm no longer having fun - which is the reason I play WoW in the first place these days. It's also why I no longer do dailies. If I want to suffer through unenjoyable drudgery, I can go to work.
