Feb 15th 2010 5:23PM They don't make them that big.
Much to my disappointment.
Feb 15th 2010 1:50PM Forums tend to be moderation nightmares, I mean look at how hard it is for Blizzard to police the official forums. Besides, Weblogs can't even get their commenting system to work properly... you want them to make a whole forum?
Feb 15th 2010 1:46PM It's also something of a moot point since you can already do this with the land mounts as well by jumping off a tall cliff/city/tower/floating necropolis.
Feb 11th 2010 1:29PM Oh for an edit button. I meant 70%
Feb 11th 2010 1:29PM And speaking of spammers... I'm wondering how much of that 30% is taken up by spammers who only create level 1s to race them to capital cities and spam /y and /s.
Feb 8th 2010 2:07PM Sadly, a lot. Whenever I've posted this video to my guild forums there's people who ask who she is. Same in WoW chat rooms.
Which is especially frustrating since most of them are killing Ony at least once a month :/
Feb 3rd 2010 2:22PM On ten man I think our best group (we have two) is working on Rotface now, but in 25 we're still hung up on Saurfang.
One thing is for sure, we will NOT be using the knockback method any more. We tried it last week using two mages with blastwave to blow the beasts over the wall. Yes it got rid of them, but it didn't despawn them, and somehow they were able to attack our tanks from under the platform.
It also caused some other weird glitches in the fight, like occasionally one member of the raid would suddenly be knocked over the edge to their death. That's how we found out the beasts were still attacking, the dead people saw them at the bottom of the tower.
Feb 2nd 2010 11:57AM There seems to be one key feature missing from this thing... a data box. I can't put a character list on my profile page.
Also disappointed that it limits you to 5 characters. I had to leave off one of my lesser used 80s.
Feb 2nd 2010 11:53AM The window that pops up to ask for your WoW login information is on Blizzard's servers (just set your browser to display the location on the window). All it does is validate your identity and then pass a handle back to the Facebook app (I presume using an ajax call back to Blizzard's servers).
The Facebook app itself never sees your WoW account details, likely for exactly the reasons you just provided. In this one particular case, I'm pretty sure you are safe.
Feb 1st 2010 11:11AM If you have the time (and the tank has the AoE threat for it) this can be improved further by setting up a /castsequence macro for Flamestrike rank 9 and then rank 8 followed by blizzard. The two ranks of flamestrike have independent dots that will stack on top of each other and will both be up for the entire duration of the blizzard. Assuming no pushback, your blizzard cast will end just as the first flamestrike dissipates.
