Jul 13th 2011 2:19PM I grabbed dead nation with the playstation "welcome back program" and was quite disappointed. I was expecting a really clever cheap little game and instead got a poorly designed... slightly overhyped game.
I dont know, maybe i was expecting the wrong thing, but i really didn't find dead nation to be very good at all.

"a community needs a barrier to entry," and "if there is no barrier to entry -- and no recourse against those people [who take advantage] -- it could be bad."
Who the hell does he think he is, speaking for the community..
This attitude toward new players is absolutely ridiculous. I've been playing TF2 since beta, consider myself a veteran, and have always loved the game not only for being F'ing awesome, but for the community.
Though It's a sad day when i see everyone complaining about new players. We were all there at one time, forgetting to push the cart etc. So they didn't have to pay for a game we had to pay what...20 bucks for, 4 years ago. Who cares?
Why not help out the new players and make them feel welcome? This elitism is BS, and the guy that wrote that mod is full of BS too. I always thought the TF2 community to be far more cool than this.
Jun 4th 2011 3:36PM @Nobledevil Gaming Optimist Yeah, i echo what u said. I'm 26 now, been drawing my whole life. Before wacom tablets, cintiqs and photoshop it was pencil created demons on the back of my assignment handouts, and designs adorning the borders of reports.
As it turns out, that pencil work translates directly over to digital stuff, but for anyone interested in digital art, it's very good to know a traditional skill like pencils.
There's really no excuse to not draw just because one can't get a tablet. Pencil + paper is as cheap as it gets and is pretty limitless. As most artist will tell you the most important thing is to get your values right: something pencils are good at.
Jun 3rd 2011 12:24PM @trinica hah, yeah same here. Each video i see on old republic makes me less and less interested in the game and more interested in where all that money they're putting in it is going.
It's just gonna be in the new EA store now? definitely not getting it. I'm willing to bet that old republic being only in the EA store isn't going to help it's sales.
Jan 19th 2011 12:49AM I voted you up; This article came out before the other blogs then they just reblogged it which blogs are famous for doing. So yeah, thanks a lot for yet again destroying another section of the auction house wowinsider.
Jan 19th 2011 12:47AM Yep, i dread the day this section of this popular blog finds my only way to make money in WoW and completely ruins it.
Odd how this article hits today, and the same day it's hotfixed. Thanks a lot Basil Berntsen, u really are doing a service for the WoW community.

Oct 19th 2010 12:17PM Reapers are OP. Im glad they got hit with the nerfbat.
Oct 16th 2010 1:42PM lol same here. I saw the patch and thought "the real content comes in 4.0.3? i'll just wait till then..." then 10 minutes later i resubbed and was in wow. I originally quit to play SC2 but have been looking for a game to play in between the very stressful games of SC2, i think wow was that game all along.
