Jun 13th 2009 1:04PM Not in the offhand slot, and that's really the problem: no other class wants a slow off hand yet it's required for Enhance dps to work effectively. They're all designed around Slow/Fast by and large, save hunters who're basically indifferent to the speeds on their stat sticks as long as the stats add up to the largest beneficial number for them.
The hand specific tendancy of fists compounds the problem. It just means the potential for more main hand weapons we can already use, or more slow off hand weapons no other class wants unless the fix to DK dual wield is going to be to make it more like Enhance in play; which would seem to go against the Blood Caked Blade proc dual wield used to rely on IIRC.
All I know is I'm getting tired of grinding Naxx for Angry Dread while every other melee class sees multiple weapon drops a night.
Jun 13th 2009 12:54PM You might want to play around with the Earth Ele again post 3.1. 20K health and buffable makes it a bit more handy. I've used it in combo with a healer to wrangle Chow on Gluth 10 for a decent bit.

Mar 16th 2009 5:06PM Errr, folks don't really expect to log in in 3.1 and find their quiver gone, right? That might cause a few issues....
The change is that ammo stacks to 1000. So you don't NEED a 28 slot quiver to hold a substantial amount of ammo anymore, especially since the haste has now been built into the class. Keep the pouch if you wanna walk around with an obscene amount of bullets/arrows, otherwise just bank/sell and replace with another container of your choosing knowing you can still carry 3K in 3 bag slots.
And, seriously, having to click 5 times to fill out a stack is just par for the course for consumables in this game. Get over it.
Mar 15th 2009 7:30PM Loken really is a joke to heal as long as folks do stop running around. The most likely cause of death on him is someone fleeing, still getting hit by the nova, then picking up a DoT tick.
If you can get everyone to stand still at short range to eliminate the dot, the fight becomes trivial for everyone, including paly's who just have to bacon themselves and then heal everyone else with the expectation that, worst comes to worse, the paly and the tank will finish the fight.
As noted though, bring a resto shaman, and the fight is trivial - chain heal the folks cuddling his feet through the nova + nature resist totem FTW.
