Sep 16th 2009 3:20PM For the Headset!
May 8th 2009 12:14PM Heh. I didn't read their logo on the video correct. It actually doesn't look like FLICKS at all.
Apr 29th 2009 8:56AM New features usually keep me coming back. I take breaks ranging from 2-4 months to revitalize my interest in the game. Usually a nice big patch brings me back.
Consistent content upgrades will always keep people coming back. Unless of course you pull all off something like Age of Conan. People run from that.
Apr 28th 2009 9:01AM Blizzard already added my two most-wanted mechanics: talent confirmation button and Hunter pet talent trees.
Two features I wouldn't mind in the game are both cosmetic. I'd like for players to be able to customize the size and shape of their character. Toons have minute features you can change to look different from the crowd, but once you start packing on the gear, those changes can easily disappear. I don't like looking like clones.
Another feature I would enjoy comes from playing Fable 2. The ability to customize your gear. In Fable, you could buy dyes to color your clothing. I don't see why WoW could have some kind of gear customization.
But why stop there? What about different voices? Different combat animations? Postures?
Nothing to make the game play any different, really, but at least it would help garner some identity on your toon. The only identity you can really achieve in WoW is through your name. And that only really works best if it's ridiculous.
Apr 27th 2009 10:01AM I'm just happy at least someone isn't a peacemongering hippytard. I still think Wrynn is a bigoty bastard, but the situation seems to me that we've got awesomeness heading our way.
Now, for the poor digital denizens of WarCraft, it sucks. But for us, it's pure greatness! War is coming, and it's not coming from some mythical titan bullshit, or from naked alien demons, it's coming from the two opposing factions players can choose from.
I don't know about ya'll, but it spells excitement for me.
Apr 27th 2009 9:41AM I'm all for 2-Hander Frost DPS. I stuck with Unholy during my climb to 80, then decided to give Frost a try. Never looked back.
The ability to dish out massive amounts of damage in a very short period of time, plus not hassling with a perma-ghoul, has kept me in the Frost tree.
If you're bored with Unholy, seriously consider Frost. And pick up Glyph of Obliterate and Frost Strike. And that Icy Touch sigil. Then PS, IT, OB, BS, BS, FS dump your way to success!
Apr 17th 2009 10:35AM The Barrens is my least favorite place, but despite that it still has some unique areas. Especially like climbing the mountains in that area.
There's usually something rewarding at the top. Like that Fallen Warrior monument, the warrior quest-giver, the cave-dwellers above Wailing Caverns, and loads of cantankerous tallstriders.
But evil quest-drops, mean porcupine-people, and Mankirk's farkin' wife kind of kill the mood.
Apr 17th 2009 8:13AM The seemingly endless exploration is what initially drew me to the game. I had wide expectations of exploring amazing places, but I think rolling Horde killed it for me.
Apr 13th 2009 3:27PM Maybe we could abbreviate it as IFP instead?
