Oct 15th 2009 4:39PM I don't think you read the relics well.

Elemental one is a flat 219 haste that needs building up with your shocks. If you shock once every 15 seconds, you keep the haste. PERIOD. Same goes for Stormstrike and the 438 AP gain (Enhance) and Riptide and it's 255 SP/HP gain (Resto). The relics need an ability used to proc, but they don't have a proc cooldown like the 245 relics have.

Think of it this way. Riptide, as of now, has a 6 second cooldown. If it worked the way you thought, how could the resto shamans even GET a 3-stack up? 3 * 6 = 18 seconds to get 3 stacks up, IF you use Riptide right when it's off-CD. Ridiculous. Do you think Blizz misjudges the abilities they created?

I'd appreciate it if you could comment the three relics, now that you know what they REALLY do.

Mar 4th 2009 2:33PM Hawaiian pizza, on its own, is a little bland. Add sausage, pepperoni, green peppers and LOTS of hot chili peppers, and it officially = win, in OH SO MANY WAYS.

To the people complaining about not running heroics anymore, not everyone will be downing Maly 25 when 3.1 hits the realms. Blizz has to be conscious that new raiders will have to start somewhere, and mark a progression from Heroism to Valor to Conquest. It's just simple logic. For once in WotLK they do something so that toons don't get ridiculously geared even before setting foot in Naxx...
