Mar 19th 2009 8:04PM Huma, why would you be criticised in public? Anyone who doesn't play wow would just think it was some kind of symbolic design. Anyone who does play wow isn't in a position to judge. ^_^
Mar 19th 2009 8:01PM Nope. One or the other, not both. A blue post on the Customer Service Forum (US) has confirmed that.
Mar 16th 2009 6:49PM I think it's because when we as players die, it isn't a complete death. There is still brain activity, it's like a deep coma. When great lore figures die, it's a complete, whole death. Brain death. Maybe resurrection is still possible but it would take much more than one priest.
Death in Azeroth is obviously not black and white like in our world. They aren't working with the same restrictions as we are.
Mar 13th 2009 7:17PM I'm the same, Gulliver. I love Arms, always have and always will. It feels like my 'home' spec. I have had a few flirtations with fury and prot but always go back to arms.
Thankfully, I don't raid so can spec my warrior however I want so went back arms. My warrior basically exists for the purpose of cooking, fishing, my primary profs and dailies. It's sad but what can you do. I'm just not that into fury! :)
Mar 5th 2009 5:51PM "What the average citizen doesn't know is that there's a complex, hidden system. It's practically a Goblin-Vendor cover-up, but I'm here to end all that."
It would seem what the average Wowinsider writer doesn't know is there has long been simple, lightweight addons to do this for you.
Feb 27th 2009 7:23PM If you've ever spent time on the Customer Service forum, you'd know how badly this feature is needed. Many a person has been directed to the Suggestions Forum to make this suggestion and the developers have agreed it's required. If everyone that played this game was honest and decent it probably wouldn't be needed, but fact is there are a lot of people out there that delight in ruining other people's fun.
Feb 11th 2009 8:30AM Romance, and the real Valentines day, makes me vomit. And yet, Love is in the Air is my favourite WoW holiday. Go figure. I love unbreaking people's hearts with Unbestowed Friendship Bracelets, and I've been enjoying sitting in Dalaran with my picnic basket so people can get the Lonely? achievement.
Feb 8th 2009 7:44PM There isn't anything magical about ending up in Alterac Mountains. Tigole explained during Beta on the Beta forums that that location in Alterac is loc 0,0 according to the game client's internal map. The game will send you there if you're alive but it doesn't know where else you should be. The Barrens graveyard the default graveyard for the Horde, so if you're dead and the game doesn't know where else you should go it will send you there. I guess there is an Alliance equivalent too.
Dec 11th 2008 10:31PM Awww Belfaire. Always my favourite CS poster. Hasn't been the same since you left but YAY you're here so it's all good!
Never been a fan of seeing taurens on little mounts. Or male orcs for that matter. The poor mounts look so squashed. :(
