Apr 9th 2009 8:47PM You will definitely need to re-do them. Keep in mind while you might have them the way you like them now it could change come 3.1 anyway so you might want to re-do them. Also I hear you can change your talent points around before saving them, so if you write it down somewhere or replicate on the wow talent calculator and save it you can then make sure its 100% before you apply the new talent set, pretty easy :)
Apr 9th 2009 8:45PM I really still don't see any reason to play my rogue, even with the damage buffs I am still QQ'ing as to our place in raids, PvP is pointless unless its a 1 v 1 battle and even then I have to pick them carefully.
Guess it might be time to re-roll and give horde a try :s
Mar 30th 2009 8:29PM I think this is absurd. As it is the rogue class is already underplayed (lets see if 3.1 changes any of this) and being a pure dps class I don't see why I would even bother with it come triple spec (hell as a PvE raider I don't really even need dual spec).
I can see a lot of pure dps classes sitting in the dust getting no use while all everyone does is play hybrids.
Mar 28th 2009 12:51AM Just downloaded it and I love it, I have an ipod touch and am rarely in a wifi zone, similarly it's never on so I get good use out of it as anyone else would an authenticator. I am an aussie and purchased it from the aussie store no probs, well worth signing up to bnet for!
Feb 27th 2009 9:45AM I will admit while I'm not screaming we need a buff (though lets face it buffs are fun) every melee toon in my guild cries in anguish when I bring my rogue because they feel they could get more dps from another mage or hunter who similarly geared can pull almost 500 more dps than me. Granted I don't min/max but I'm naxx10 geared in 51/13/7 spec. As a result I am super interested to see what 3.1 and Ulduar brings :)
Feb 25th 2009 3:52PM I was wondering if with these changes (and my guild running 25s now finally) if any other rogues were considering a HaT build for PvE Raids (purely because in a big raid its easier to spec for crit). And then some whack combat style talent spec for questing and dailies. I love mutilate at the moment but as with everyone else I am a bit worried about how that will effect my already less than average dps. I am geared as well as all the mages and hunters in my guild and I struggle to keep on par with dps.
Jan 23rd 2009 4:08PM "No one is asking for the world here. All people want to know is when, and what, is being done to fix this."
Did you ever stop to think that rant posts like this are the reason Blizzard don't give us an ETA on a fix that is as complex as server load / latency. Because let's just assume they did (keep RPing for me there champ) and they were but one minute late on their proposed fix for the latency, you would be all over crying foul that Blizzard don't make good on their promises.
Good customer service is not telling a lie, if Blizzard don't know when it's being fixed because they are still working on it then we don't either it's as simple as that.
Similarly if you KNOW that Blizzard employees are good hard working people as you claim they are ("I have gotten to know some of the people at Blizzard, both directly and through reporting on what they say. I know that they are good and dedicated individuals.") Then why come here to whine.
Seriously all I heard in that post was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Jan 19th 2009 11:12PM 1. Being super casual at the moment and still being able to collect gear from regular instances quite easily.
2. Levelling faster than I ever had.
3. Guru of Drakuru.
4. Veteran of the Wrathgate (that quest made me feel so epic......cinematics after quest chains are AWESOME!!!!!!!)...actually that should have been 1
Anyway thats all for me so far.
Jan 14th 2009 10:23PM Having entirely missed out and BC and only having bought it out of necessity to get to WotlK content I will admit I was really sick of the vanilla wow quests that involved constant grinding or stupid amount of travelling. I burnt through BC content super quick on rested XP as I only had limited time in my first we weeks and got from 60-68 really quick. I will admit I was doubting my choice to come back, I am now 75 in Grizzly Hills and can't believe how much fun I am having, I know for a fact that I will hit 80 before I finish all the zones but I plan on doing them all anyway, even going back to do the fjord for gold and just the experience WotlK truly has helped me as a casual gamer enjoy the game again and I think they have captured me even more this time than the last!
Jan 3rd 2009 7:09PM As a raider in vanilla WoW that started MC well after there was guild that had full tier 3 sets I was always frustrated at the lack of options I had for progressive guilds as I lacked the ability to pick up early tier gear as everyone was passed the content.
With the ability to enter Naxx at an easier level to get gear which allows me to take on harder content (I missed BC raiding as I had to stop playing) means that hopefully I won't have this issue in the future. I am very looking forward to the new instances coming out and I think Blizzard are definitely doing it the right way.
Though an interesting note on the lore for sure, not having read too deeply into lore they could say just about anything and I would believe but it is very interesting I might do some more research on it some time :)
