Apr 4th 2012 7:06PM Didn't Blizz say at one point that humanoids with other than 2 legs would be difficult to do because of the armor/mount restrictions?
Dark Rangers would be awesome though.
Dark Rangers and Demon Hunters in the next xpac, go go Blizzard!
Apr 4th 2012 7:04PM The way it reads is that it's automatic in LFR, and could possibly be a chosen loot system in a normal or heroic 10/25 man raid.
However- The "free extra roll" with the charms things seams to work in any mode, and regardless of what loot system is setup. So you could have a master looted 10m, and use a Charm to have a single chance auto-roll for a free piece of gear.
Obviously things can change, and we'll know more once we get to see it in action.
(or not "See" it as it's mostly behind-the-scenes...)
Apr 4th 2012 7:02PM I'm sure reforging is still in there are relatively untouched.
Obviously any stats that are changing/being removed will be adjusts accordingly at the reforge vendors.
Apr 4th 2012 7:00PM Q for the Q -
Wands are going to be mainhands for priests, mages and warlocks in MoP
Does that mean when we right click to auto attack something, if we our mainhand is a wand, we'll auto-wand them? instead of needing the annoying "Shoot" spell?
Obviously if we are still using a sword, staff, mace, or dagger we'd probably still go into a battle stance until we're in melee range.
Which I guess begs another question -
We're not losing the ability to use other Mainhand weapons, so we basically just have a new choice. How do you think Wands will hold up stat wise? Maybe in line with 1h sword or dagger? Being as I'm assuming we get OH with our Wands...
Apr 3rd 2012 4:48PM @Xan - Neither of them said it was wrong for you feel upset, just that they don't agree.
I'm male, I play mostly female characters and I see both sides of the fence on this argument.
The NPC/PC relations should not be gender specific, and I think it's a little creepy.
And I do agree some female armor is absolutely ridiculous.
At the same time, I'm glad the armor is still in the game to give players the option of wearing it if they choose
Apr 2nd 2012 5:32PM I'm with Sara in that I'm almost tapped out on my priest "main", and with Mists coming I want to get my several Alts up to par to be ready for Pandaria.
What I've also noted too with myself and several friends over the years is that switching mains isn't always a "Ok I'm switching" thing.
I started a Priest on another server to play with some IRL friends, while I was raiding on a Mage during BC. Somewhere in there I slowly phased out my Mage and was raiding on my priest with a completely different group.
I woke up one morning and realized "oh.. my priest is my main... oops"
But mentally, my mage (first character I leveled) will always be my "main" and favorite character, but I tend to be healing on my priest for most of the time I run dungeons/raids.
Nowadays I've been leveling lots of alts and having fun with new classes, but 2 years after Wrath and I'm still not sure which character (mage/priest) is truly my "main"
Mar 31st 2012 12:49PM Also see some notes online about NYI - Not Yet Implemented.
Mar 31st 2012 1:16AM Wow, full 25-30% of the annual passholders getting invited in a 48 hour period.
Obviously the preliminary "is beta ready to go live" test went exceedingly well.
Can't wait to check out the new stories and whatnot, I'll see you soon fellow testers!
Mar 12th 2012 2:15PM My fiancé won't play tanks or healers for this exact reason. She loves her mage and has briefly tried other classes for rDPS, but won't pick up other roles because of the pressure.
So for what it's worth, there's one woman who has never tried healing.
Mar 6th 2012 9:55PM Nice setup!
If you don't mind my asking, what's the addon you are using to display the text information in the lower right? I've seen it done in a LDB bar, but never in the layout you have.
I'm interested in filling some dead space I currently have.. hehe
