im sorry but that is just ignorant. there are plenty of players that dont know how to play their class. and if they dont know what sap is when switching to a rogue they were probably a mage that didnt know how to sheep or a hunter that didnt even know what cc stood for.

lolwut? you realize that the pvp weapons are almost as good as 10 and 25 man hard mode weapons. on my server it is easier to find 2 good players to play 3's with than it is to find 24 good players that even have a chance of beating a hard mode. on top of all that, pvp requires skill, pve does not. i personally have more fun with doing somehting engaging, and not just pressing buttons and following a preset strategy. in pve, they make the bosses so they are possible to down in the gear they basically hand for you. if it isnt possible to beat something, they nerf it so it is. in pvp, you are faced with oppenents who are able to think, counter your strategies, and set them selves up so that they can be almost unbeatable. try killing a prot-holy/arms team as a rdruid/hunter. it is impossible to do just by hunter shooting something and druid healing. you have to out think your oppenents. then when you win, you can dance on their dead bodies and know they are smashing their fists into their keyboards, and they will have to get up and drive to best buy before they can play again. can you do that to a raid boss? beating a raid boss for the first or 100th time is a feeling of wow, nobody in the raid did anything dumb. i dont see how that is a rewarding or fun feeling. the one thing that confuses me about pve is the feeling of need for gear. people will rage when you ninja loot or even if they dont win the roll/get outbid. it is just pixels on a screen that make it so you have to think even less when killing something that wasnt hard to kill in the first place. anyways, i tried raiding for a little bit in bc, then i tried a little bit in ulduar. both times after like a month of killing the same things over and over to "get phat lewtz to be le3tzors" i went back to pvp realizing that it is the only truly rewarding and true feeling part of this game. anyways, despite what you think and/or convince yourelf pvp>pve

i hate to flame but the only class that really has a hard time succeeding in 2's is hunter. disc rogue was one of the top comps last season, and dks numbers have went down significantly with the rise of the warrior. the only class that is horribly unbalanced is prot-holy. moral of story, there are more than 4 classes succeeding in 2's at a high level.
now, i dont understand what ghostcrawler is trying to say. they seem to have just as much trouble balancing 3's, what with beast-cleave running rampant on anyone not in a prot spec, and especially the current reigning champions of over representation at a high level, rmp. and 2's is by far the most fun bracket, no matter what you play. i had fun playing moonkin/enhancement, which by no means is one of the over played faceroll comps. saying that you have to play something good to have fun is just dumb.
May 2nd 2009 3:19PM Correction: There was one exploit in S3D which was promptly hotfixed. IMO the "alternative" methods to beating him (VW tank, zerg, etc.) were just creative and carefully planned strategies.
On a tangent, blizzard should not have nerfed the VW tank strat. Instead, they should have made a new achievment, and given the original guy a medal.
Apr 20th 2009 1:54AM I was in naxx one night fighting the 4h when two newer members to my guild got an achievement. It was hot hot streak. I wasnt familiar with them yet so i opened the social box to see who they were. One was a mage, the other was a warlock. That is something to write about. I dabble in arena and i rarely see mage/warlock teams. That would be more interesting than a team that is over powered and by far the most common composition in season 5.
Apr 17th 2009 9:05AM Lol, i think i found those same ruins. On my hunter at about level 32 i tried to swim from Tirisfal Glades to the Ghostlands. I was confused when i got to Tranquillen and i was still swiming. Of courses i didnt realize at the time that it wasnt really there and was part of a different instance. But i did find some cool tower way out there. In hindsight i should have kept swimming and got the Hinterlands flight point but i thought swimming down until i died would be more fun. Those were the days...
Apr 12th 2009 4:52PM definately know what stats are important for your class. when i leveled my first character, i went for whatever item had the most armor, and tried to balance all my stats. i probably had the highest spirit a hunter has ever had. just make sure you know what are upgrades for your character and what arent. level and armor do not indicate that lol.
Apr 10th 2009 7:17PM Since it does 20 more weapon damage it is better than deaths bite for death knights. Best weapon you can get in 10 mans, plus it looks awesome.
Mar 10th 2009 11:56AM When a buff randomly occurs.
example, i use the Mirror of Truth, which has a chance to give you 1000 AP on hit. When it "procs" is when that buff occurs.
Hope that helps.
