Staff changes at WoW Insider {WoW}

Feb 19th 2009 12:45PM I am a hunter, and I can say that will not miss BRK whatsoever. Thank God.

Rolling restarts incoming {WoW}

Feb 18th 2009 12:01AM Possibly to get a solid backup of the databases before the PTR?

Guessing..

Feb 17th 2009 7:23PM "I leveled my palaidn to tank the content, to use all the spells I've got, to work my ass off to hold agro and know what's going on around me."

Man, not enough to go around?

Seriously, this is ONE of TWO raid bosses that require some sort of comprehension of reading. Yes, reading, like reading the text boxes on the vehicle spell bar. Wooo. So difficult. Q Q..

I agree wholeheartedly with Tradyk. I play the game for new challenges. running out of the goo/fire and casting is what we do 99% of the time. Why is everyone up in arms over this new fight?

Learn to adjust or die... or.. just never see the content you pay for. GGs.

Learn to adapt!

A plea against vehicle combat {WoW}

Feb 17th 2009 6:28PM You all crack me up. Talk about skill and fun, yet you don't even put in the time to learn to use these vehicles. (Or you're slow or stupid)

Seriously, this isn't all that hard to grasp. You are playing a video game. A game which evolves and creates challenges for the players. The vehicles in the game are just another angle that you're going to have to learn and master.

Dont cry when you die. That is a part of the game. Sure we have our limits, but there's always another day. Don't cry because your wishlist purple-people-eater didn't drop, or that you couldnt grasp the talents of the vehicles to overcome the boss.

There is always another day.

On that note, practice each day while doing nothing but sitting in dalaran with your thumbs in dark places. Get out, do some of the dailies that require vehicles. Learn something else other than your spam-macro. Seriously. Do it.

More pew pew.... Less Q Q

Feb 17th 2009 6:11PM yea people, QQ Moar!!

To all those that are QQ'in about this, I BET there is a high percentage of you who claim to be "great raiders", yet, all i see in regards to this new Raid instance is QQ from the people.

I suggest YOU adapt and get some skills to go with it.

Crybabies.

Breaking: Consumable ammunition will not be removed in patch 3.1 {WoW}

Feb 10th 2009 12:41PM Hah. This cracks me up. It makes me wonder if they may have listened to some of the engineers in regards to keeping their profession at least somewhat viable in the current end game, but, I doubt it.

To all those who support the removal of ammo... just agree with me that they are dumbing down the game to the level of a 3 year old.

I have never had a problem with ammo space, or lack of ammo whatsoever. As a hunter/engineer, I already have less bag space than other classes/professions, and I never complained about it.

Go ahead Blizz, remove ammo. Make the last thing engineering was good for.. useless. Once the ammo is gone we engineers have only one thing left worthy of our profession... Mote Extractor.

Goggles? Nah. replaced by Naxx 10.
Repair bot? Nope. No reagents, and if you wipe in naxx, the repair station is at the spawn point.
Guns? LoL. maybe the tanking gun. The other is replaced in Naxx 10 or Heroic drop.

ohh.. engineering has, and probably always will be, a profession that has no endgame vitality.

Blizz. please. look into this. With ammo becoming moot, we engineers have very little to do with our professions to make any kind of money with it. Unlike J/C, Herb/Alch, etc.

Big changes for Hunters in patch 3.1 {WoW}

Feb 6th 2009 6:42PM Errr... yea... I do not approve of the changes to ammo, and my main is a hunter and engineer. I prefer the requirement to keep ammo at all times, and the ability for engineers to make said ammo. For one, it doesnt cost me anything for ammo, and two, I sell it on the AH or give/trade with others for their commodities. This is a serious kick in the nutz to all of us endgame engineers (please see below for the rest), and it (like other hunter changes in the past year) continues to dumb-down the hunter class even further... to the point that being a 'good' hunter beans absolutely nothing.

Further, this announced change is ruining the engineering profession. Much like the changes to the Repair bot, and the sheer weakness of the goggles which are replaced in naxx-10, takes away the uniqueness and reward from the engineering profession. But thats not all, I believe that Blizzard is focusing far too much on shiny new spells and class mechanics, that they're totally forgetting the real meaning and value behind crafting professions.

For one, the quicker leveling process, and RAF, scale much faster than all gathering and crafting professions. If you make a new character and get them to 10, 20, 30, etc.. the amount of materials gathered to increase their crafting is far below their character level. Also, materials required to make many items are not obtainable until higher levels, where the said crafted item is then weaker than a random green dropped at those higher levels.

This game is getting too easy.

GC answers Hunter questions {WoW}

Feb 4th 2009 10:38PM Hmm... OR....

Some of us have been waiting for SV to viable in a raid, while still upholding decent dps when compared to the other two talent trees. Some hunters, like me, are ecstatic about the improvements to SV. We didnt change becasue some guy with a big name said so. I particularly think that BRK is a bad reseblance of some hunters, and he's what other classes see in every hunter.
