Feb 7th 2009 11:51PM HOLY HELL!! I gave up half way thru, this was a total personal project, contributed nothing to Love is in the air, its like someone was trying to push engineering or tailoring. Glad i didnt finish, hopefully we can get a real guide soon!

Dont get me wrong, had to take for ever to write up!!
But not a usefull article.

WoW Rookie: Will my computer run WoW? {WoW}

Jan 28th 2009 7:50PM No your right, Upgrading core's wont do much but ease that vista sidebar or other random background process. Your absolutely right, for more bang for your buck, upgrade RAM and Video card. But if your still on a P4 or other single core, do upgrade, well worth it, Dual-core will soon be equivalent to a P4w/HT, programs and OS's will demand more, and so the cycle repeats. Remember Intel i7 is now on the market.

WoW Rookie: Will my computer run WoW? {WoW}

Jan 28th 2009 6:47PM I have a dual-core laptop, does .....ok, i get ok performance with a little detail, but im not satisfied, im working on a top of the line quad core so WoW will be......WOW!

I recently built a comp for my GF, dual-core 2gb RAM, ran pretty alright, like mine, put in a hi-end 512mbNvidia card and i cant believe how much better hers looks than mine, its like a rendered movie!!!

Conclusion, have beef somewhere in your system, a good video card or quad-core CPU. RAM is always a must, 2gb at LEAST mida's well get 4gb there so cheap.

A couple things to always remember:
The newest CPU is ALWAYS right around the corner wich will nerf the prices of the current CPU's.
Dekstops always put out more performance than a laptop, i dont care if you have the best laptop ever, desktop's will always out perform with more ease.

The Guild posts episode 8 of season 2 {WoW}

Jan 21st 2009 12:03PM Great job on the show, complete hilarity.

PuG dungeon loot etiquette for dummies {WoW}

Jan 18th 2009 8:23PM My experience on Undermine is, you have two types of ppl, 1.ppl that are smart and respectfull, we all greed EVERYTHING unless it makes us cream in the pants, then we ask if we can need, everyones happy with that. Then there's type 2.Young wide eye'd kids that think wow is there personal playground cuz the ppl cant hurt them, these kids need everything!! then say omg sorry, then need again!!! they just dont care, they want everything to vendor or upgrade away.
So as long as you choose smarter older players for your PuG, you'll have a great run.
IMO and how i always do it is just wait to see if anyone needs, then if they do i check if i can use it, then i'll need if i can, cuz that kid aint getting free loot!!! But i always establish at the start of a run "GREED EVERYTHING UNLESS SPOKEN UPON" And it works great, everyone agrees.

Tunes for toons while raiding {WoW}

Jan 7th 2009 6:13PM Ok you guys are weird, Bon Jovi? really? i guess old ppl play too, being 23, i listen to A Perfect Circle, T00L, KottonMouth Kings and ICP, in that order, its good zoning out music, then it kicks up to stay awake. Everyone watching shows while you play is useless, it just jumbles your brain, and you dont get the full hillarious effect of the shows!! i used to watch simpsons on my treo and play. And its soo funny to see so many ppl say Itunes, i still havnt got on that bandwaggon. Dont get me wrong WMP SUCKS!!, but when you got 500Gigs of music on an external, a playlist helps.
