Cataclysm: Justice point conversion revised {WoW}

Sep 29th 2010 9:36PM @Finnicks

Why is it that whenever blizz makes a change thats good, some d-bag on the forums or a blog claims that THEY are the one that thought of it. It's pathetic on many levels, but here are the main ones:

a) There is no way to really prove it was your idea. Even if you did have a link to the forums, there is no way to prove it was your blogger id that posted with some random wow account.
b) A lot of times it is so obvious a change that 5 million other people probably commented via the suggestion system for the exact same thing.
c) Stating, "They finally did what I suggested!," like your interested in improving the the game, when it's obvious that your only interested in having random people on some blog think that the person behind some lame blog ID thought of something that blizz implemented. Even if it was true, it's still pretty lame to jump up and down yelling, "Look at me everyone!" The only thing it does is make you look like an attention starved d-bag.

Equally annoying and lame are the people that have to start every sentence, with, "Back in vanilla wow...(fill in the blank with lame annoying story that no one cares about)."

The Queue: Hard (Stone)core {WoW}

Sep 26th 2010 4:38PM I miss the days of getting my #$# kicked in heroics. I just wish they would bring back a long dungeon, like another BRD for those that like that kind of experience. Also, blizz, how about normal mode, heroic mode, then raid/insane mode for dungeons. Open up the raid/insane mode after the last raid hits, to quell the pre-expansion boredom.

Looking forward to Cata!

Pre-Cataclysm event testing on PTR {WoW}

Sep 21st 2010 3:03AM You'll get more information as soon as MMO Champ releases it, eh?

Cataclysm Preview: The Battle for Gilneas {WoW}

Sep 16th 2010 4:35PM Yay, another "fight for the resources" map. Why doesn't blizz actually add new game TYPES to give the bgs some real flavor. I want my wow deathmatch and king of the hill.

Cataclysm needs a "couple more months" before release {WoW}

Aug 19th 2010 12:03AM The Echo Isles/Gnomer xpac as well as the new talent system will be in place just prior or after Blizz con. The actual expansion will arrive 2-3 months after. Don't get excited for the release of cata until you start seeing pre expansion in-game events.

Breakfast Topic: Hacked off by hackers {WoW}

Aug 5th 2010 9:31AM Huh? I'm a hacker because I said people use it as an easy BS excuse. If your telling me you believe EVERY "I've been hacked" story, then I have a bridge I want to sell you. It's become the new "laaaggg" on my realm. Every major mistake, or blatant theft/ninja'ing is attributed to , "I've been hacked!!!!!" That, is bloody BS.

Also, of course, use a strong password (look it up).
Get an authenticator.
Etc etc....

Breakfast Topic: Hacked off by hackers {WoW}

Aug 5th 2010 9:05AM The little pixil that cried wolf. The problem I have with the "I've been hacked" thing is that I don't believe it half of the time. People use it too much and here are some fine example of BS, "I've been hacked," stories:

1. I missed the raid, "because I was hacked!!'
2. My character cleaned out the guild and left it because I was hacked. Whats that? How do I still have all my gear and everything, but can't give back the stuff I stole, err, the hacker stole? Ummm, blizz didn't restore it or something, yeah, that sounds good.
3. I'm on the trade channel and want some attention so, I'm being hacked right now!!! And yet, I'm still somehow talking on trade.

Etc, Etc. I know people get hacked, and it's sad when they do. But I also think, it's become an easy excuse for a lot of people.

Space combat has been confirmed for SWTOR! [Updated] {Massively}

Jul 27th 2010 6:17PM This is awesome, but I'm convinced that this game will be delayed. I'd love to play it sooner than later, but I'd also like it to have that bio-ware polish we all love so much. Late 2011 or early 2012 is probably a more accurate time frame for this game to release.

Azshara: Changes and what will be missed {WoW}

Jul 10th 2010 9:17PM Oh, I'd like to also add, it's an herbalists paradise there. I've made loads of gold from herbing there and there's usually no competition.

Azshara: Changes and what will be missed {WoW}

Jul 10th 2010 9:11PM I would like to add, the BRD quest for The Love Potion. You had to go kill elite giants and a bunch of other stuff, just so Mistress Nagmara could get her groove on behind the bar (and open the door of course).
