Incoming newbies, but why? {WoW}

Nov 9th 2009 7:59AM if icecrown can't be improved on as you say it is, then at least if blizzard put all the programmers that are working on the useless tutorials into work on icecrown, then icecrown would come out SOONER.

if new players can't access icecrown because they couldn't figure out this easy game already and need a tutorial that tells them how to move or cast spells or whatever, then how the hell did the thousand or so guilds able to raid without the benefit of fisher-price tutorial from release up until now?

the C++ and HTML comparison, as you would've realized if you knew what you're talking about, are irrelevant. It's not like a programmer has to either know one or the other, not both. Chances are good that professional programmers at blizzard. i.e. people that work for a living, are flexible enough to switch between one similar programming language, like Java, to another, like C++. Chances are good that they can switch between completely different programming languages as well.

There are so many ways you're making yourselves sound retarded it's crazy.

Nov 8th 2009 5:24PM clearly the people that downrated the comment dont understand that a programmer is a programmer. Theres no such thing as a "tutorial programmer " or "dungeon programmer", because they're programmers all the same, so you can put those tutorial programmers into the dungeon team, and end up actually having meaningful tiers and raids. it's a waste of resources to put even one programmer in the new tutorial UIs, since thats one less programmer that will be making dungeons, and a little bit longer that we have to wait for the next end-game dungeon.

Nov 8th 2009 2:07PM I think all that time spent on making tutorials that most people don't care about could've spent on making raids and entire tiers not lame (i.e. not crusader's coliseum)

Class Q&A: Warrior {WoW}

Jul 16th 2009 3:28PM the fact that warriors were dominant BEFORE has nothing to do with the mechanics that make them gimped and underpowered right NOW.

Class Q&A: Warrior {WoW}

Jul 16th 2009 2:05PM I find it hilarious that GC is fine with gimping a class because it is "popular", and not base it on actual mechanics. who cares if it is popular? warriors are underwhelming at tanking compared to every other tanking class. but being favored as tanks back in vanilla or the fact that lots of people play or used to play it (many play it for flavor reasons like the sword and board image) does not change the mechanics that makes it underpowered RIGHT NOW.

Ensidia and Method to compete in Ulduar timed run {WoW}

Jul 14th 2009 7:05PM lmfao.

Timed runs when it's not even hardmode? whats the point? It's hilarious that they are "competing" in runs that they don't even care about in the first place.

'Simply because he wants to' is not an excuse for being wrong and doing a shitty job.
