Apr 19th 2011 11:56AM Dawn, is the IF/GHeal macro reliable currently? I stopped macroing these together because a prior gheal would consume IF early on in cata, and opted for macroing it to prayer of mending instead (which i tend to use on cooldown, especially with it glyphed).
Apr 8th 2011 10:54AM It doesn't work both ways because it takes about an hour to get 1250 conquest points. It takes significantly longer to cap valor points. If doing heroics and bh only, you can't even cap valor points at all.

I divide it into 3 categories, for cloth wearers:
Spirit? Priests of all specs
Hit? Warlocks, Mages, and Shadow Priests
dps gets to the point where they don't need any more hit for the current tier of content, and healers get to the point where they don't need any more regen for the current tier of content. They should both have equal access to gear which has neither hit nor spirit.
Jul 5th 2010 2:16PM Well, the guild I'm in is 6/12 icc25 normal, and we didn't really have any trouble with it. It takes organization and coordination, so might be difficult in a pug, but any icc guild should be able to do this, even if your icc progression isn't so great.
The minibosses are pretty easy, and the main boss is just about coordination.
Apr 7th 2010 4:53PM Yeah, I must be sleepy, I read soothing kiss as seduction for some reason. The knockback will be nice. For demo, demon bolt and meta not being demon ccable will be nice. Not sure if it'll be sufficient, but it's a step in the right direction.
Apr 7th 2010 4:32PM The changes which struct me were:
1: pet cc is gone, getting a knockback instead. Interesting change, and will perhaps give warlocks more survivability vs rogues and the like.
2: Curses seem to be changing to pure utility, with coa/cod moving to magic effects, which every healer in the game can remove (although, at a higher cost).
Jan 13th 2010 10:32AM Warriors need a way to pull casters. One thing you could do is to make it a blanket silence out of combat and an interrupt in combat, which is a compromise between the two positions. As for shockwave and conq blow, shockwave's stun is hard to reduce because the aoe abilities of warriors are just barely adequate in wotlk, reducing them further is probably not viable, unless you did something like reduce/remove the cooldown of shockwave and/or thunderclap.
Design of encounters is balanced around tank capabilities, so run up and tank it doesn't work, and sometimes los pull doesn't work either. Druids can sometimes get away with this, but they have a 360 degree swipe (admittedly, they didn't when wotlk released). Making cleave 30 degrees with no target limit is one approach they can take, but I don't think they want warrior mechanics to be exact clones of druids.
Things can be done, but your specific proposals are not viable in light of pve realities, they are a far more significant nerf than I think you think they are.
Jul 21st 2009 12:01PM I disagree, this behavior in chat can be banned. Now, I don't think blizzard needs to do anything, apart from enforcing the rules they already have in place, but that's another matter entirely. The whole idea that something offends you, you report it, they get banned seems to work fine in my eyes.

May 6th 2009 5:12PM "Also, all of these add-ons legally fall under the GPL since its all in LUA and used in Blizzard's video game. "
1: To buy this logic, in any sort of way, you'd also have to take the position that the wow client is also under the gpl. It's not.
2: Lua is not distributed under the gpl, version 5 is under a mit license, and earlier versions had a lua specific license that was in general similar to bsd/mit licenses more so than the gpl.
Feb 23rd 2009 1:50PM Personally, I don't care about ranking that much. However, I will say that if you're a raiding guild, you should be spending at least some time working on things you've never killed before, and not just 'if we have time in the schedule left over after naxx is cleared, we can look at new stuff'.
If you've killed KT before, and raid say 3 days a week, i'd probably give maly/harder mode sarth a shot for 1 day, and naxx the other 2. That's at a minimum, too.
You need to strike a balance between gear farming and progression.
