May 21st 2009 11:26AM Exactly. We still hate the Alliance, but an annoying amount of time is spent in areas where we can't kill them (Shatt before, Dal/Argent now). It's like Blizz are buttering us up for a "You're all one big happy family now!" shark jump.
Mar 18th 2009 6:06PM I've been frustrated about this for a while now. They figured a solution so "feral druid" staffs could be shared among other classes. Time to find a solution for spell power plate.
SP based on either STR, Armor (so Paladins don't resort to Cloth/Leather gear so freely) or a combination of both seems the logical solution to me. Certainly much easier than figuring out ways for Death Knights to find Spell Power more attractive. The ball is in Blizzard's court.
Feb 17th 2009 6:59PM One big difference between the proposed Uludar fight and Maly/Oculus is Uludar will be fought on a 2D plane whereas Maly/Oculus is fought on a 3D plane.
Tell people they only have to move forward, back, left and right and people don't struggle too much. Throw in up, down and ask people to think about their location in a tri-dimensional space and they drool for a few seconds before facerolling themselves outside AOE heals into Maly's storm/Oculus orbs.
The last 50% of Kael in MgT shouldn't be hard. Yet some people just couldn't avoid the orbs, and only after many attempts did it click.
Feb 16th 2009 11:58AM DPS/Tank builds aren't always just for switching to DPS when not tanking. Once a DK is expertise/hit capped and has a fair amount of mitigation/avoidance he can look at dropping certain talents to improve his threat.
A DK who only sees himself tanking may look at a Mitigation/Threat tank dual spec. Just looking at Tier 1 your Mitigation build would put 5/5 in Blade Barrier/Toughness/Anticipation and your Threat build may look at Subversion and Morbidity as a source of extra threat.
Furthermore we have no idea what fights are in Uludar. If there are a lot of caster fights some tanks may look at complementing their traditional tank build with another build containing Spell Deflection, Frost Aura and Acclimation.

Dec 22nd 2008 2:35PM Comcast's QoS in WA has been slowly going down for the past 2 months. First it was sites that are typically fine (Google, BBC) failing to load or getting stuck mid load. Then it was random disconnects during media streaming. Then it was the WoW disconnects and now WoW latency/outages. Add to that the threats to P2P, net neutrality and their recent changes to the ToS where they will no longer take responsibility to any damage they do to your property during maintenance; And they're walking a dangerous line pleading ignorance to these problems with Verizon's FIOS just as accessible, even if their customer support is better than Verizon's (at least if you live in WA, heard some tech support horror stories from other places).
As for the recent problems, I don't blame Blizzard. Comcast and their affiliates have been messing with bandwidth limitation and service blocking for the past 6 months. When torrents went down they denied it was their fault until weeks later when they said "Oh yes, we blocked P2P uploads".
