Breakfast Topic: What's your story? {WoW}

Jun 25th 2010 8:16AM I think I am going to be writing about one of the Orc orphanages and what happens when Cataclysm begins. Though I am also tossing around a story about a goblin or two... and maybe even a Star Craft Special Op's team. Who knows. So much to choose from!

The Daily Quest: A little too real for me {WoW}

Jun 23rd 2010 9:37PM Well there is the Busy, but yes, I agree... I would really love an "Invisible" option. So far I have pretty much only added my real time friends, people who know me in real life, if someone else wants to message me, well then they can message me in game.

Lil' Game Hunter achievement now set to 75 pets {WoW}

Jan 29th 2009 2:38AM Wow! I -just- got Stinker! *bites my lip, eyes welling, then shrugging my shoulders with a grin* Ah well, time to continue working on gettin all those nifty pets out there. Not like I wasn't planning on it in the first place. I really wish I didnt give baby murky out back when I wasn't playing WoW any longer. That would put me at 52 with 23 more to go. Hrm.... Whelp Farming and Daily Crocs and Fishing here I come!

Still wish people would run sunwell!

[1.Local]: No one plays WoW because of clams {WoW}

Jan 10th 2009 8:32AM Completely agreed. Personally, I think that pure PVPers don't seem to realize that the world is not based strictly on PVP. Meaning, that a lot of how the classes are built, is based on what is needed within a Raid or even an Instance.

Quit QQing and reroll is what I always say.

Officers' Quarters: Waiting at 80 {WoW}

Dec 29th 2008 11:13PM Wow, I love this article. As the GM of [adult swim] on Ghostlands, I have seen many people come and go due to the fact that we are a "Casual Raiding Guild" rather than a Hardcore one. During BC we didn't get to see all of the content though now that we've got a lot of 80s and more and more are hitting 80 we are probably going to go back and do the content from BC just because we can. Also we are just now working on getting geared up enough to do Naxx, running Heroics as often as possible as well as other 80 instances. I know that already one person has left the Guild to find another that was already in Naxx. They are happy with the fact that they get to raid a lot more but I don't believe they are able to enjoy the casual atmosphere that we in [adult swim] have to offer.

During BC we saw a lot of people come and go, they come in thinking that they will get to see plenty of content and the fact of the matter is they weren't able to and I never told them that they would. I don't lie about the fact that we are a casual guild who enjoys raiding and doing a variety of other types of things within the World of Warcraft.

I think this article is great, I've linked it on our Forums so that people can read it. I know even I myself have thought to myself, perhaps I should give the Guild to someone else or put another one of my characters as the GM so that I can go and become a part of Plan B or another Hardcore Raiding Guild. Though at the same time, I realize, that I would absolutely hate being in that Guild almost every moment I am online (Unless we are currently in a Raid). So I have stuck around, and I see many others sticking around.

I love my Guild. It took me from moving through a small handful of Guilds before I decided to create it. My Officers, My Guildies and myself have worked very hard to create a Guild that fit perfectly to our needs. It took me a while to get used to the fact of people coming and going, but it happens, and in my opinion it weeds out those who truly could not fit in with us, and I have come to understand that I am fine with that. I strongly urge people to do what is best for them, and if that means leaving the Guild then so be it. Though if sticking with us and working toward seeing all of the different content, then yay I am happy I could help provide a group environment that works for them.

This article is great, it touches on a lot of important things. There are many things that someone can do beside what was offered in this Article. Go and work on Achievements, skill up your Cooking, Fishing and First Aid. Farm Mounts from BC and Azeroth Raids/Instances and much much more. There is always something there to do in WoW especially with the new Achievement system.

Thanks for this Article! Am sure it will help many people.

Percula reveals future of BLIND {WoW}

Dec 29th 2008 10:58PM This is an amazing video. I am just astounded by it. I wish I knew just how he made the characters make those kinda moves. I loved every part of it. I mean, if I could get the characters and use them in Maya then I could easily make movements like that but I just don't understand what sort of program people use to make those kind of amazing moves because they aren't moves that you see in the World of Warcraft. I think this is a piece of art, truly. A great Machinema especially for someone who is releasing their first video. I've posted a link on my Guild Forums for everyone to check out, I'm pretty sure that my Guild will feel the same as me.. excellent work!

WoW, Casually: Loot {WoW}

Dec 27th 2008 12:54PM In the past week I have been leveling my Mage to 80 (Which I just hit moments ago thank you very much) a bit more seriously than I had been. I started out at level 75 this week and within that short amount of time I have gotten enough to pay for ALL of my training up till 80, to pay for all my profession training up to their respective levels, buy Cold Weather Training, and buy a whole load of Snowballs to save for the non Winters Veil Months. For the times I have gone into Instances I have bought potions, elixirs and made my own foods. I have probably spent a good 2-3k just on everything there.

Now, as I have finished hitting 80, and looting all the way there, I have about 2k worth of mats for the AH from DEing my greens and blues that either were replaced or I didn't need. I also have a good thousand golds worth of Cooking Materials and other odds and ends that I am about to put on the AH.

As for the gold that I have looted and gained from Questing, I am up to a little over 2k in Gold on my person.
