Nov 25th 2009 1:54PM Hmm looks cool im in and thanks for the awesome blog guys
Feb 28th 2009 6:18PM Well I would have to say that they are very powerful and fun to play for example
I was riding along in Hellfire at lvl 60 I had just killed 4 ally's in a row "seperately"
I had half Health and out of no where im saped by a lvl 63 Rogue
He starts in on me stuns me again I killed him and still had half life.
It was over in seconds since my main has always been a rogue
I was shocked at how fast I put him down
When a rogue gets the jump on you and your lower lvl than they are its pretty easy to die before getting a hit off.
But all these people QQ over them being overpowered
is just silly There super fun to play and isnt a game supose to be fun.
The fact that there a Hero class is enough excuse for them to be overpowered.
If you have ever played the wow strategy games you would see a huge difference when you use a Hero class toon to attack with rather than a normal one.
So yes by definition and lore they are supose to be more powerful.
Feb 7th 2009 12:15PM I think its great to be able to go back and change your Characters
looks, but lets face it for those of us who actually take time and care when selecting a name gender etc.
We do not need to use it.
What I would like to see is a Race/Class/Faction Change option
the race change for 1 would be great for alot of people.
the class/faction change of course would only be for those who are willing to regear or find new friends lol.
another thing i would love to see is a character cloner
because I have alot of friends who play on other servers
why shouldnt I be able to log onto any realm with the same toon without leaving your home realm? well population control of course but it would be nice
at least for select servers.
Feb 6th 2009 1:59PM Yeah I am only lvl 46 and I have noticed that I dont lose aggro when i vanish on several occasions.
Jan 19th 2009 3:37PM I bought one didn't like it at all. Just took it back.
main reason was it feels like its constantly trying to slip out of your hand.
seemed like the mouse buttons responded slow
looked awesome but just wasn't worth the price
Jan 14th 2009 2:58PM Yes I have gone through many long nights playing wow and getting caught red handed by the sun coming up...
In today's real life grind with work and other things stealing our time. The best time for me to play is after dark.
Mainly because I try to give most my time to my Wife and Kids and get all my responsibilities out of the way before playing.
After playing wow for about 2 years I have gone through times of serious issues with how much time I spend in game all hours of the day even neglecting other responsibilities.
I have even taking months off at a time to fix the issue
Now I have found a nice balance after my wife and kids go to sleep i play anywhere from 1 hour to 3-4 hours trying to keep the limit to around 2 hours.
If I find myself thinking about the game to much I simple take a break from it.
Jan 14th 2009 2:50PM The response some of you give is kinda silly
The group put this out for people that are like minded
not for many of you.
I personally believe in freedom of speech so if him and his followers wish to not support companies that go against there moral code there is nothing wrong with it.
As for the reasons behind what he says...
there kinda of silly.
The bible has more demonic activity and violence in it than alot of games or movies, many do not notice this cause they believe or follow someone else and do not read it for themselves.
As I see it if you are a christian playing WOW there is nothing wrong with it as long as what you do in it doesn't violate your core beliefs
for example you could play a Priest,Paladin,warrior,rogue...
but if you played a warlock well that would obviously go against biblical teaching.
Everyone should worry about themselves and follow there own convictions.
Jan 14th 2009 2:15PM Too bad there's not some Logitech Raid Boss we could just take down and roll for the loot.
Maybe Blizz and Logitech could get together and make it some in game drop we can get in real life :P of coarse with an insanely low drop rate.
Jan 14th 2009 1:56PM Well I have been doing something like this for some time.
I have been living in Thailand for 4 years and many times the Hi-speed internet there is... well not Hi-speed.
So I copied my wow folder to my external hard drive and would head off to a local internet shop where they have much better internet, and then play till the wee hours of the morning.
to my suprise this worked great didnt even have to install the game on there pc
so now I am back in the states and my job requires that I travel alot so I bought a new WD 250g HD thats the size of a cell phone i take that and my gaming mouse on the road with me and can play from any pc i happen upon atm our graphics media notebook goes with us and i use the bosses pc at night in the room without ever having to install the game on it.
now that they have the new 16 gig flash drive's I suppose you could use it as well.
